well, all the common characters such as mothra, mech godzilla, etc were all in monster movies, but these movies were only made in japan(check out the angry video game nerds review on godzilla, as he is a big fan)

if you like giant monsters, yes. if you like fighting games, yes. but, if you like super fast paced gameplay, unless you switch the game to fast mode, this game probably isn't your cup of tea. the controls take some time to master, but after a while, it just becomes second nature, and you will have a lot of fun. the gameplay is awesome as hell

This game sucks. There is almost no difference between it and the previous two Godzilla games Atari did. Seriously, why do the buildings fall the same as they did in G:DAMM? Why does it have to be so slow? Godzilla wasn't slow in "Final Wars", King Kong wasn't slow, niether was the monster in "Cloverfield". It's just an obvious cash in on Godzilla; made without love or even the slightest respect for the franchise. This is a videogame, why not make me feel like I'm playing as a real monster?

Nononono! Their brains are just slower. Not stupider. Thats why smaller animals can react much faster than we can. Why is swatting a fly hard? Why is catching a rabbit with you bare hands hard? They have faster moving brains, but their(in most aspects) not smarter than us.

As a die hard Godzilla fan, I was pissed off when this came out. You take forever to hit the ground, everything is soooo slow, and you hardly have any moves, most of which are the same!!

It is supposed to be realistic. I cant say anything about the moveset, but the slowness is because A: The larger you are, the slower your brain reacts and moves. Notice how flys are so difficult to swat? Their brains work faster. B: Theyre only falling slow in proportion. You know how a grape and an apple will fall at the same speed? Its kinda like that. They fall as fast as a person would, and since theyre so huge that seems slow.

Because on the movie ¨Godzilla against Mechagodzilla¨ its named that way, Kiryu, wich means "machine dragon" or "dragon machine". At least this is heared in the japanese audio version.

You could consider Godzilla neutral. He doesn't particularly LIKE saving Tokyo from other monsters he considers them invading his territory. Godzilla however has killed millions of people most likely in his ventures through Japan so he's not exactly good either.
