2008 i was there too with my brother and a friend of us they managed to dive through the hole with just a snorkel but i could get so deep because my ears nearly exploded and my head nearly bursted a pitty it was such a cool cave i love malta because i lived there for five years
it looks like the blue hole of dahab in the description it said "there is a large exit to the ocean" the exit looks like "the arch" of the blue hole of dahab.
Thanks for putting this up. I went to Gozo in 2001 and discovered the Blue Hole by accident. I thought it was just a rock pool but then could see there were air bubbles from divers below. I only had my snorkel but I managed to swim down about 10 metres and then out through the archway and up to the open sea! Thought my lungs were going to burst - and it took me an hour to find a way of climbing back to where I had left my wife (I hadn't told her where I was going). :-)
