  • practical, but maybe at some point we can stop spilling oil in the ocean.

  • i want an anit-stress cap :(

  • '

    what is a green liquid

  • dumb assed birds

  • Excellent. I m really amazed to see such a innovation. A real gift to preserve the nature and help to innocent birds. WellDone!!!!!!!!!!!

  • stress cap rofl

  • @12palisades I'd buy one!

  • I read that less than 1% of the cleaned birds do actually survive for long...

  • Great!!! Send a couple of these machines to the Gulf of Mexico. ASAP !!!

  • BP

    fuck

  • Stalkers

  • From my friend Debbie B.

@BP_America Why are these bird washing devices not being used in the #gulf cleanup? #oilspill

If you Twitter, please retweet the living hell out of this message right now:

  • Great for the unfortunate birds. Humans must help them.

  • So why aren't they using these devices in the Gulf of Mexico? Are they using them anywhere?? Or is this just some feel-good propaganda piece to show how much the anonymous oil companies give a damn. Which they don't.

  • I know it is useful, but it really feels like a Soy Green ad to me.

  • While I am excited by the development of this machine, if we were not so heavily dependent on oil there would be less of a need for it.!

  • Me parece una gran idea

  • wow!! this great!!!

  • Where are the big ones for the turtles, larger sea birds, sharks, big fish, and other victims? Where is the one for all the people who will breathe and drink in all the pollution? Where is the real big one for the planet earth?

    Who is "the company"?

  • Everyone blames the Oil Conglomerates, no one blames themselves.

Gotta say though, @ejbh3160 Guaranteed they are making money off it. How else can they secure permissions to drill in other locales if they don't keep the current ones clean and safe. . .Oh, wait. . .Nevermind. Go ahead and try to boycott them, pretty sure you support them in one way or another.

  • They should just stop destroying the environment, instead of financing and developing machines that deal with the mess they are responsible of.

  • I these 'effin corporations did more to ensure these totally avoidable accidents didn't happen in the first place, then one might think this was a good idea.. but they make a profit from spills because the oil corps also sell the chemical dispersants & clean-up fluids

BP are probably making a PROFIT out of messing up the Gulfs ecology!

But then the fosil fuel corps are making trillions from destroying the eco-systems of this planet!

Only ONE way to fight Corporate power now... BOYCOTT them!

  • nice one

  • Bravo! Well done!

  • this is just a way for the uneducated public to think the oil companies are helping.

  • Why don't they use microfiber cloths to clean the oil off?

  • Clever use of the Davis Bell Boot (normally for horses hooves) for the bird 'blinker'!

  • i guess these will be needed soon..

  • Suddenly, this is one of the most important videos on YouTube...

  • @nameofthepen Like everything else...in all that happens, there's combination of bad and good. There's a form of evolution even in disaster.

  • @nameofthepen This makes me very, very sad.

  • These Types Of People brig a smile to my face (:. me and my family are helping cleaning the birds also, so of course i know how brusque the task is. but I feel so exhilarated letting the bird go back in a safe environment!
