They take them apart, wash the seperate part, then heat them up, paint their veins, then blush them, etc. root their hair, eyelashes, do their nails, replace they-re fake eyes...thats generally the way they do it!

A few of them could be passed as sleeping babies. I'm going to keep my opinions on reborning to myself, however I will say that personally, I find the sight of a crying baby very distressing, why anyone would want a reborn that had a crying face is beyond me, it's not like it can be soothed!

Some of the dolls themselves are very nice...as DOLLS. Personally...I don't like dolls...my mother is a collector. I think it's emotionally WRONG to refocus grief over the loss of a child to a doll... it just prolongs and twarts the healthy healing process. It's a nice thought, though a incorrect one.

i dont know if anyone remembers the stuffed victorian kittens dressed in vitoriana clothing having tea parties - it was weird. I have to say i would be interested in a reborn nicole kidman doll, like she was in Days of Thunder please.

weird and creepy - the woman who travelled to the USA was very strange and the 're-born' was hideous, if you can't or don't want to have children of your own why not try to adopt a 'living' child, enjoy bringing them up and provide a warm and loving home rather than taking the bride of chucky for a walk in a silver cross pram....this was a very watchable but disturbing programme.

the woman was freaking me out, but her mother was worse - what normal mother wouldnt interupt her daughter and tell her what she is doing is morbid and she should seek phsyciatric help immediately. And just that 3 days toguether we made a beautiful reborn doll! :) And it was my first time making one i'v discovered new arts and she saids she'll be more then glad to help me througth the whole college of the arts and be my teacher! omg im soo exited cause just before 2 weeks my dreams come true! Lol yesterday a famous artistic person came in my house my mom saids is her cousin! I never met her but shes a young woman shes like 25 years old and she creates reborn dolls! she even brougth some! :) And she stayed at my house and then in the morning i asked her if she would mind showing me how to reborn dolls.she said :sure then we spended the rest of the afternoon making one.
