@Miluuism Not even. I can nuke people w/out DFG. I usually go Dorans -> Dorans -> Sorc Boots -> Deathcap -> DFG -> Void Staff, works out just fine in 5v5s/3v3s.

You should use your deathfire grasp more, its for that good nuke. Else buy morello's evil tome, if you forget to use it often, its kind of the same item.

just recently started playing veigar again and loving every min of it. but i was curious you didnt use the deathfire grasp? i think it really helps bcuz it gives you an extra nuke to initiate with while theyre stunned and waiting for you dark matter to drop. just curious on your thoughts.

@iXiDemonik ofc it works better. In my opinion thats the main reason for getting that item. Note that this guide is way back old and alot have changed since then. like they now use his ulti scaling on the enemies AP instead of mana.

I always use the deathfire to kill off someone when all my abilities are on cooldown, or to get their annoying tank who think you cant kill him.

build is horrible, mejais maybe but challice is out of the question. chalice is a complete waste if you have any other mana regen except runes, and he already has DFG. it+doran ring+runes+imba innate are plenty.

then this guy doesnt use his DFG enough which does a whopping 51% of people's current HP (before MR) for ultimate annihilation at a expectable 600 AP.

moreover, veigars ult has nothing to do with enemy mana, only their AP.

I play as master yi and viegar alot and I must admit, viegar kind of pwns yi because typically as master yi I just go 100% attack and no armor...

So a nuke mage with stun abilities is very devistating against him.

@DJBranden Veigar is a nuke, he takes out players very easy, but master yi is a pusher and if you leave him in a lane alone late game, most of those towers will be gone in like 20 seconds, so they neutralize each other

veigar's ultimate is the most terrifying thing to casters, it adds 1.2 ratio of his ap, 0.8 ratio of enemy's ap and it deals TONS of base damage, usually when im farmed up at around 500 AP i can just drop it on a caster and use baleful strike for a instant kill
