This sounds great! What do you serve it with? IE: What veggie & side dish? On a side note, every time I try to fry aka "bake fry" chicken, it's nothing like KFC. How can get a thick crispy healthy crust without deep frying. Suggestions anyone?
@DJLunasf I served this particular one with roasted sweet potato wedges and green beans w/ sesame seeds. I really have no idea how you could accomplish a KFC crust without deep frying. Sorry! Have a wonderful day!
I almost did this but we had a Greek party so I stuffed it with black olives, cilantro, fetta, tomatoes, and topped it with olive oil for lil crust on top. What you think?
WOW1 I love it Mary Ann!You are so fun , VIVACIOUS! ( I as a bachelor can not tell a married Lady she is sexy so, hee hee( Love all that I am sure goes into these videos! Thank you!
Thank you for the video. However, I do have a question though, for the seasoning beside the salt, what other recipe can we use, like the garlic powder, etc you put in to make this recipe.
There are just too many times I make the recipe with the ingredient i have never used before, and only use it once so i just wondering what other way to use it rather than go on the waste. Thanks Mary-Anne :-)
@evailgirl Hi! You can replace fresh garlic for garlic powder in many recipes. I tend to use garlic a lot and put it into almost everything! But you can use it on meat, fish, seafood, beans, vegetables, etc. Sage is something you will probably not use very often so go ahead and omit it. Paprika - use it in stews, bbq sauces, soups. Cayenne - if you like spice food you can use it in anything you want. If you don't forget about it! Thank you so much for coming by!
that looks yummy :D what other kind of filling do you think will go good with this? My husband doesn't like melted cheese :( but it really does look great... maybe it will be just as delicious if I add some mushrooms or a sausage?
@slolita1 That does sound great. How about tomato and basil? I am thinking of making another video with Mozarella/Tomato/Basil and topping it with some Marinara sauce. You could forget about the Mozzarella.
@slyflight That is weird. Someone asked me why a kept unsubscribing them?!? I had no idea what they were talking about. Then I realized I had been unsubscribed from a few channels myself? I wonder if it a YT glitch. Anyway, thanks so much for coming by Dan!
Yum, they look so tasty. Just a suggestion Hun, when I make these, i also add a small piece of garlic butter and chives inside the drilling. So like maybe 1 tsp of butter, a little garlic and chives mixed together and placed on top of the ham, then top with cheese.
I wonder if it will be a good idea to tie up the meat first after you stuffed it to keep the filling from falling out and for easier handling while breading & dipping.
@SoSoniLove I know! I made these at my friends house. She had some friends over and they were already there when I finished the video. Thanks for coming by!
Great recipe! I eat chicken breasts probably 2 times a week and it would be nice to spice things up with this! we'll probably do without the breading and just bake it with steamed broccoli on side!
Yay! Some people do not like labor intensive food to eat, and also, some people have problems with their health/teeth but are embarrassed to say so, so they really appreciate something easy to slice and chew. It's also a bit more "elegant" this way. I guess the labor goes to the chef, but for those who love it, it's . . . "a labor of love!" Uprated.
@hinatapalmdanse You will find a video on ice cream sandwiches in my 'desserts' playlist. I'll add your milk shake to my request list. Thank you very much for coming by!
