I really really have to consider making a new oppinion about this game. I played it once and I actually liked some parts. Still, I always judge it as a bad FF title and I believe I'm simply misjudging it. However, I want to buy it and maybe start a playthrough to hopefully change my mind, because I think it still might have its fun-parts. (though in comparison it still stays below other FF-games)

@infrazoom 12 was supost to resemble 9 because 9 was the closet they got to their image of final fantasy but it did turn out to much like a star wars spin off. But this wasnt as bad as a reck like 13. Everything in the name of final fantasy is going to shit now :( i hope if they make 15 that they can show us final fantasy still lives

@Bundyrumowns well clearly you have different tastes for rpgs, skyrim is huge, i get it but everything is to easy to kill, im shooting giants and ancient dragons with one daedric arrow and they drop. Its to easy to navigate your way to a quest, where in ff12 it all takes strategy and bosses would take you a long time. Not 5 seconds of shooting a bow and dropping them, my point is that skyrim may be amazing, but if your a true rpg fanatic then you will love ff12

@Bundyrumowns oh well last time i checked expert wasnt the easiest difficulty setting, the reason why i said everything is to easy to kill is because the equipment is too easy to get. I allready have daedric armor except for head and a daedric sword which makes everything too easy to kill. Skyrim is way different than ff12 in both positive and negative ways, i personally think ff12 will always rule the rpgs, but thats only because its what i prefer.

I so miss playing this game. It was EPIC. Never mind the dudes who keep saying FF X was the last FF. FF XII was the last! Fucking epic. Even after more than 3 years I still miss it. In the first games you usually play a short prologue part before the title scene, and the music always plays at that part.

In the later FFs this track is usually played in the end credits, though.

I really loved XII i think that this is the route they should have went down, when they made 13 they shouldn't have made it Linear and a lovely sight on the eye they should have made it open worlded, and of course the license board and the whole you advance your own characters role was amazing over this your this or that.

I really havent finished the game, for me the voice actors where horrible not like final fantasy 10 where the voices actually fit right for the person. the voices of 12 dont seem to feel right except for Balthier. the battle system is lame and the only challenging part of the game is getting money for good weapons which is no big deal either.  i cant critize the story cuase i havent finished the game but untill then i mark 4,6, 8 and 10 as my favs. looking foward to versus 13!

@wjr341 You are really dumb. The voice acting is definetly better than X,because the production values were HIGHER, and MORE EXPENSIVE voice actors were hired. so, no way that X was better. The challenging part of the game is not getting money, its getting good equipment and beating the thougher bosses. It is actually one of the hardest Final fantasy titles. In any case, the only challenging part of FFX is getting the ultimate weapons which are no big deal either. ff8 and X are lame.
