you could prolly do it without all mimes and counters just two, one with hp absorb and other counter and use lots of strength increase items on barret and do the same trust me as it is more simple

That crap was GAY.I tried fighting emerald normally without mime or final attack or KOTRT summon but I got nowhere.Can someone help me?Like tell me how to get a gold chocobo.Or who to use to get 64k battle points at the gold saucer?I could totally use the help.

lol i have beatin emerald weapon in 28 secs all you need is cait siths second limit break its like tifas just shows pictures and try to get a cait sith face then it will kill anything in 1 hit including sephiroth

The weapons werent originally included in the JP version, but because we got the weapons, they complained, so Squaresoft made a new version with the weapons, and it also came with extras.

the main problem is putting in the effort to master your materia, since it takes SO LONG and you only get 1 mimic at a time...

it took me like 15minutes the old fasion way mimic + Knights of the round HAHAHA

continued:

Game switches to show at least two mastered Mimic Materia equipped to Barret, connected to at least two mastered Command Counter Materia.

Barret uses Mimic, to do Ungarmax again multiple times via the 8 Mastered Mimic + Command Counter Materia combos he has equipped.

The video was posted for those that didn't want to get RealPlayer. I posted what goes on at a forum, but here's the explanation I typed out a couple months ago:

Battle Starts

Cloud uses the W-Item command, to use two Hero Drinks (increases Power / Speed / Defense / Magic Power / Spirit / Luck) on Barret.

Barret uses the Ungarmax limit.

Emerald Weapon uses Emerald Shoot on Barret.
