The shining is my favourite book, scary as hell, was afraid to use the bathroom at night cos i thought the guy dressed in wolf suit is waiting for me in the hall :P
huh.... blood. pretty awesome. i saw this trailer a couple years ago, and i was like " thats alot of blood... must be expensive" haha i still havent seen the movie
The movie wasn't that great???? Are you serious? This is one of the scariest movies of all time. No, it's not a slasher flick and it's not meant to be one, nor is it meant to draw comparisons to the book. This is a psychological experience in terror and it's a masterpiece. King's movie rendition was absolute garbage in comparison to Kubrick's version, even though King followed the book pretty much word for word.
I know it's widely known as one of the scariest movies of all time, but different people have different frames of reference and therefore can see the same movie 2 different ways. I'm not sure why this movie doesn't do much for me, it just doesn't. Some parts do weird me out though.
tall32guy the movie wasnt that great i thought. the steven king novel was much better. only thing that i'd like about the movie and that scared me, was the blood coming out of the elavators and the scary music overture in the begining of the opening credits.
Ok just an update: I saw the movie, AND also read the book, and I like book a lot more! Way more action and craziness than the movie. So basically I didn't care for the movie that much (this part still creeps me out though). Still need to see Steve King's version though! :)
i saw this movie when i was little and it didnt scare me it may be due to the fact that id read the book and expected it to be different to how the movie actually was so it didnt frighten me then again no horror movies scare me the exorsist didnt even scare me
Godzilla... curious how, and where, you found out they'd used corn syrup for the blood? I'd always wondered what they'd used! LOL Just corn syrup and food coloring?
That's gross. LOL That eerie, slimy music just makes it more gruesome, to me. PPl afraid of blood probably puked when this trailer came out. LOL I'm 32 and still haven't seen this movie, now I'm wondering if I should! ;-) I wonder what they used to make the fake blood
Does anyone else feel like drinking blood?...
