  • Nice setup! U should have played some music

  • Sounds fun, actually your vid inspired me to finally rip mine out and start a new one. Plan is to phase out my Sony HTIB with a real setup to compliment the tv lol. Will be going with the Motion series and will have a small vid of the tear out here soon.

  • @Speedcult77 did you get you system setup yet??? i would love to see it

  • @b2supra Got the new 60 up after ripping out the old entertainment center. House is early 90's so it had one of those built-in entertainment centers. Started running wires for system and put the Sony HTIB in for temp sound and PS3 for BluRay. Tax time should bring the new Denon main and after hearing some home-built unit's, I may change it up. Wife wants another 7.1 but we'll see. Still have little kids and have to make sure they cant reach lol. I may make a vid to ask advice in a day or so.

  • Well I can hear that tweeter in the background LOL

  • That looks like... sources/purities and matinee.

  • Very nice setup you got there for home theatre! Check mine out sometime!

  • Same speakers from the Italian job!

  • nice clean setup, but the tv's a little to high for my likely

  • great setup, there is a way to hide the wires behind the fireplace.but,i recommend getting a pro to it.

  • i would greatly appreciate any further info on hiding the wires behind the fireplace

  • @b2supra Been a couple years but not sure if you updated yet, but what I would recommend is a small fireplace surround. The cables can run in wall to just behind mantle (usually some insulation between drywall and exhaust is all that's there) and then down either of the sides nicely concealed. Hope this helps you or anyone else in the same situation. About my 90's built-in, THAT requires some love from a demo-hammer and sawzall lol, I hate how high my TV is now... 6" from ceiling! Nice setup!

  • @Speedcult77 thanks for the info, i am in transition stage getting ready to move into another house and once i do, i will be taking your advice and hiding all wires for a clean setup. Again thanks for the post

  • i agree it would look much better

  • great set up, I'll be buying the ML Purity's soon and a matinee for the center like yours. I already have the Denon 3808ci receiver. I was just surpised to see that you got maybe 2 more sources in the back?? for surround??

  • Everyone that ive talked said not to compromise on the surround speakers so i went a head and used 2 ml source

  • Really nice room just but hide the wires then it would be awesome

  • i agree, but im going to be moving shortly so all do it at the house i move into

  • How do you like them? I have some Klipsch RF-7s now and am looking to get some ML's or B&W's.

  • Well to be honest i havent listened to mine yet im saving for my receiver, a (Dennon AVR-5308CI). although i did a lot of research and went to several listening rooms, and the ml sources were the best option for my budget. be sure to listen before u buy electrostatic speakers, the sound from them is alot more focused

  • did you compare this with the Klipsch RF-63? they are on the same range, but I still no decided witch are better. what do you think?

  • I did compare several different speaker including the Klipsch RF-63 which are very nice, however i have become a big fan of the electrostatic design by martin logan. to me it produces a sound that seems to be playing in my head. also the sound between mids and highs is seemless.

  • @b2supra nice stuff but the TV is too high to watch......and small

  • Which Martin Logans are those?

  • 4 martin logan sources, 1 matinee as my center and 1 abyss for my sub
