  • hahahha.,.it's very entertaining ,,i am proud to be a waray-waray !!!

  • I love the performance and the arrangement!

  • wow it's great,,i love it

  • The accoustics of the place is terrible making their redition of the song discordant. If the performed that if a place that was accoustically treated, the performance would have been superb.

  • @hommedterre funny. this is a church. Churches are not meant for concert I think?

  • @bretthemora - actually, churches / cathedrals have been and are often used as concert venues because of the natural accoustic properties that yield a "large hall" reverberation effect. and when churches or cathedrals are used for this purpose, church officials first remove the blessed sacrament; without that present, the structure is technically "not" a church...at least, not in the Catholic sense.

  • Hanep galing tlga...

  • hello thinking people, peace. it really doesn't make sense to compare or criticize based on uploaded videos because there are other factors affecting the music quality here (i.e what recorder was used, quality of recording, other sounds in the background etc.) so i hold my comment because its totally different when you are actually there. i'm here to appreciate music and enjoy what is available as is. actual performance is the best venue for critics.

  • @thanx4music - i agree completely. but one technical thing that might have worked better was to locate the recording mics a few feet front and above the choir, near enough to capture the direct choir sound but far enough to capture the natural reverberation qualities intrinsic to the large, high-celinged hall. as it was, the recording mic seemed integrated with the video recorder sited in the choir loft, thereby capturing more of the 'wet' or reverberated and less of the 'dry' or direct sound.

  • @windbreaker57 hi. I'm not an expert on these things so I can't really respond sensibly on your comments but you seem to be so. I hope choirs and others who are into these kinds of performances inside churches or similar venues get to read this so they get ideas to better capture the best audio qualities in their next acts. thanx for sharing.

  • wow very entertaining - love the womens costume

  • it's the balance, they all compliment and make one sound...don't watch choral singing then.

  • its just my opinion, u don't know how to accept critics.shame on you.

  • it's not that, you're watching a critically-acclaimed group, that won awards, and have made such a great mark in chorale singing...your comment just seemed off since chorale singing is meant to be sung by a number of singers of course, pieces for them arranged for their voices to harmonize and make one sound but still be able to perform the needed dynamics and produce a sound that's balanced...shame on me? maybe on you.

  • yeah shame on you, you cannot please everyone here.

  • nahirapan ako sa kantang to, ay sa sayaw pala. hehe

  • .... i love this rendition, jojie..

    best wishes!

    titaAgnes

  • BRAVO UST Singers...Keep it up..More power..

  • mabuhay waray!!!!burauen Leyte...

  • a performance worth a multitude of applause from the waray-waray's. ;)

  • WARAY WOMEN = SPARTAN WOMEN. They are not weaklings and delicate, they can fight teeth and nails for themselves and and their families.

  • This was always one of my favorite songs and performances! The reason why I travelled hundreds of kilometers to see the UST Singers again and again.
