those are great tires for any driving situation. they get you wherever you want to go. im on my second set. i have them on my 97 GMC sierra 4x4. you get them spinning fast enough and they will dig through anyhting.

just wanna you know that LJ70 is more capable on rocky offroad i used to drive one in the desert of Egypt that have a lot of rocks it is really high and have really strong body. no one can drive the RAV in that offroad it is just for sand or mad not even more..

My dad and I were on a drive with a 4x4 club one afternoon and the blokes with their Jeeps were completely surprised at how well our '94 2door Rav4 kept up with them. If it were a little higher off the ground it would make a great 4x4.

Not really, it was never build to do heavy offroad ofcourse, but i was amazed how far you can get with it on rough terrain with only road tyres.

I would never buy one though :-)
