hey, that's much more than the usual smooth good playing you got us used to, Pascal, this mix is so creatively executed and put together! from the percussive vocals and muted guitar phrases in the beginning, to the bass and the melodic lines... I love the idea to combine these two guitar personalities in the same song, each one with its own style but still both so alike and part of the same context.

The tune was initially written for students to navigate on this minor 79 color ,and I intended to play it only on archtop , but about one hour before recording it , I pulled out that Mex Strat from the attic , setted it for vibrato use , and it is now my main guitar !! Thank you Ana and you know that I and a lot of people impatiently hope that you'll post new songs soon ...

C'est vraiment trop cool ! Déjà niveau son, je suis ébloui... la strat est vraiment top, très très "Beck" ! La Brua sonne aussi... L'ambiance générale est très réussie. Ta virtuosité et ton aisance sur le manche font une fois de plus plaisir à voir. La basse n'est pas en reste non plus. Bravo à toi Pascal, et aussi à Reynald et Xavier qui contribuent à leur place à nous faire apprécier ta musique, ton univers.

@jerrybur Merçi Jerry !! La strat c'est une mexicaine ( dans le petit Marshall que tu connais ) que j'ai ressortie pour l'occasion et elle est devenue maintenant ma guitare principale ... Et c'est vrai que je me suis bien amusé et que nos deux compères m'ont bien entouré ..

When you talk about these lines its probably because a lot of Carribean musicians like E Ranglin use also that style of phrases ...In fact the tune was written in 2 minutes like an exercise to phrase on that minor seventh ninth color ! Pascal, what a marvelous composition and performance for Beck and Benson tribute!!! I've been listening to this for more than half an hour now. It's so blusey and jazzy, and I can hear Beck and Benson influence very well. This gets even better and better the more I listen to it and the more I taste Benson feel. Absolutely wonderful and brilliant, Pascal!!! Wow, I can get lost in this music... I loved the brief taste of the slide guitar at 4:29 also.

@kumhuimusicgirl I feel really glad and honored that you listened to this piece during half an hour Sweet Angel !!The composition itself , is just the simplest  idea !! I never really copied these wonderful guitarists note for note but jammed so for so long on their records ..

The colorful painting was made by my sister it is really beautiful when you see it for real because within the colored snail there are near about one hundred tiny paintings !
