Personally, I think it's more appropriate to grow long and glorious hair and to keep it as healthy as possible by avoiding doing such damage to it just for vanity's sake. I really admire and respect all of you apostolic ladies and don't mean to criticize, instead I am genuinely curious how these beliefs came about.

I don't understand why appolostic beliefs about the way god wants women to care for their hair. I understand that god named woman's long hair as her glory, and I also grow my hair long as possible. What I do not understand is why pentacostal ladies backcomb and hairspray their hair (these things cause a lot of damage to hair) if it is precious to them as their god given glory. If your hair is sacred in god's eyes and you can not even trim it for this reason, how can you damage it by

i used to be this religion.(or something like it. i would have to wear long sleeves and long skirts, even in the summer, and you would have to wear a hat on your head at all times. its way more coplicated then that, but its too much to explain. we couldnt wear our hair out because it gave us too much"pride" or something.

You do such a wonderful job on your hair. I have always wondered how the girls at my church fixed their hair in such pretty ways. I really enjoy your videos. Your hair is beautiful and it's so hard to find ideas for such long hair. I too have extremely long hair. And while I'm not religious (simply for the lack of education) but I appreciate your views and your willingness to put yourself and your ideas out there. The word of God says his word will last forever. It doesnt change in different "era's". Having long hair is not better than having short hair...the point is you hair is supposed to be uncut. And we can not only believe certain parts of the Bible that "we" want. We have to believe and follow all of it. Not bits and pieces..or what "we" think . Its not about religion...i am a pentecostal. I really enjoy your video's and I hope that you keep posting them. I to am pentecostal. I think it takes a strong person to stand for what they believe in and we understand that God says that our hair is our glory and some people don't really understand that. The reason is, is because they are too busy trying to conform to the world and be like Hollywood. The hairstyle is great!I read the Bible but I know that everything on its pages isn't true. It was written in a different time when fashions/customs were different. If everything in the Godly yet primitive book were true u would be considered sining just by posting this and also by saying that having long hair is better than short in God's name b/c it seems conceited and u r speaking for God.I don't believe everything I read in any book and nor do u. I am a Christian and I believe 100% in God. I actually love the idea of long hair. I have Pentecostal friends and I play with their hair so much. So MontgomeryGrant1975 their hair is stringy and unkept, their hair has the same consistency as anyone elses. They have access to education and they use it wisely and focus on God and their education so they can have a future. And God told the Apostles to write of their experiences and God guided them. Hey :) are you putting your pins though your hair tie or laying them flat? I have the hardest time getting my pins to stay put, they poke out and i have to keep on them to stay.
