@MrPercival100 Actually, they changed the name from Mech Warrior to Mech Assault. >_>;

And They're actually two different games. MW Is a Mecha Simulator, Mech Assault is more of just an action game with Mechs. Though generally speaking, they're pretty damn similar imo.

are you insaine in mechwarrior you dont aim with your mouse and you cant strafe probably the worst game ive ever played

@doodoodudex In mechwarrior, you strafe by twisting the torso to face forwards while walking sideways. It's not like doom or quake.

Aiming with mouse is default in MW3 and MW4. You had to turn it on on MW2. I'm not sure what was going on with your setup.

My favorite of the mechwarrior games. Felt like the most accurate one in terms of damage dealt and received, with the need to think about salvage. Also the only one where you could squash infantry with your foot, and hear a cry.

Madcat is the Inner Sphere name for the Timber Wolf. The name Timber Wolf is primarily used by the Clans. Since MechWarrior 3, the series has taken more of a "mercenary" style to it and most mercenaries come from Inner Sphere worlds. The "Thor" is also known as the Summoner in the Clan series too. Also, MechAssault uses BOTH Clan and IS names as a way to differ variants.

@KittyonEdge I dunno about the new games, but Madcat and Timber Wolf are two different mechs. They look the same, but with different weapons.

The only bad thing about mechwarrior 2 and 3 was that the guns couldn't be grouped like the ones in mechwarrior 4.
