i am so glad these are cheap. i just wish the cord were less likely to rip and that it wasn't so long!! :( p.s. are these comfortable for wearing 6-8 hours straight??
I bought these the other day, decent pair of headphones, but i expected more from the bass and volume itself, seems pritty low ! ive even altered settings etc on my i pod and phone, ive adjusted the volume on both my devices as well, but the loudness to the headphones, doesnt do a great deal..oh and the cabling is ridiculously long!
.Although in saying that the soud Quality itself, is crisp :) its good value for money and a well known manufacturer but overall they good for now
@Intergalactiic They are average really, for proper stereo headphones. Great value for money too. I recently bought Sennheiser HD555'S, and although they're better, there is not too mucjh difference
hey how well does it contain the sound in the headphones ( the sound leaking )
im thinking or buying a few pairs for recording acoustic guitars and i dont want the sound coming from the headphones to be picked up back through the mic.
@J4YM5 Hi, they are closed back, so hold sound better than most. They will leak some sound at high volume levels, but are pretty good. Compared to open-backed heapdhones, these barely leak at all. Whether it will pick up on the mic depends on mic sensitivity, volume through the headphones, volume of acoustic guitar playing and distance from the mic. I would say they are as good as any, so worth £13 from amazon
@SpaceBluntBoi713 I have them They Do Block outside voice....as far as Bass is Considered you can adjust equalizer for that...also in windows 7 have a bass Boost mode which with this headphones woof Killer bass. The Bass without proper equalizer is also strong and the Doesn't Muffles over all sound, But if u want More Bass then u will need to Equalize.
Nah these are not good headphones at all. The bass response on them are VERY week. I don't think they are worth $30. When you are playing them with an MP3 player, you have to max out the volume on your player to get any decent sound out of them.
@Tranc3FL im aware, but those are two miniscule details that when put together with the other details of the headphone, cause everybody to come to the (correct) conclusion, that these are considered dj headphones, i just dont feel like listening them lol
@Tranc3FL havent had a single one of those problems so thats just you, guess quality of the individual product can cause different opinions between users
these headphones aren't that good to be honest... If your a serious audio listener then these are rubbish. for people just casually listening then they probably wont know the difference.
i have these they are good for casual listening....definitely not for audiophiles i would go with the Shure SRH240 or some other midrange Sennheiser headphones ...
I got these headphones today. I will use them for a while before saying what I think, but so far I find it better that the sound is not so full o n in your ear as my cheap sony ones, and also stuff that is recorded at a lower volume gilbert and sullivan sounds a lot better.
The closest thing that resembles metal that I listen to is system of a down. Yes I am very impressed with these headphones. They block out all sound well worth the money :)
Good review. Hey how many cups of coffee did you drink, you were like talking really fast. But yeah I'm thinking of buying some also for road trips, and the earbuds for school lol.
Hey. I'm intending to get these headphones or sennheiser HD415, but i've read on some reviews that HD202's arent loud enough, and that bass is pretty weak, is that true? Because i didnt try them on. I only tried HD415, and those are brutal. Feels like you have 2 sub-woofers tied up around your head.
So yeah I got me a pair of HD218s and the bass was great and they were very comfortable but they didn't cover my ear well and felt a little loose on my head and I was planning on riding my bike with them and I didn't want them to fall off my head while riding, so I traded them to my cousin for his Sony MDR-NC7s which do cover my ear entirely and fit tight on my head but lack of bass compared to the HD218s.
@podreviewz really? they killed the bose? cuz i am about to buy some bose around ear , but i have this other choice, and since the bose are 110 more expensive , i was hoping alot more quality from bose, but which would you choose??

@01thrilla the reason the cable is so long because they are studio headphone and the cable needs to reach from the mixer to the mic booth

@estosjapos actually they are considered DJ headphones(hence the 3m cable + adapter)
they may not be $200, but they are still considered DJ headphones.
pokealong1227 11 months ago
@pokealong1227 What are you talking about?
Just cause it comes with a adapter and with longer cable
doesn't mean there are DJ headphones =.=

@pokealong1227Well yes, but it isnt just me that recognize the flaws, but then again its only $30
To need an amp to reach full potential these kinda destroys the points buying $30 headphones 0.o
