  • I suggest a higher quality video because this is not an enjoyable quality to watch

  • @DarkBoneFTW I suggest you realize that this video is 2 years old.

  • @viperabs I did realize the video was of this age but that didn't give you the need to be rude. I told you the only problem with the video for any future recording you may be doing.

  • spend less on the tower next time and more on the camera

  • @superfly1842 Wow, thanks for your great input towards my video!

  • It's noisy?

  • @jerinian Only when I turn on the Ultra KAZE fans. Otherwise its dead silent.

  • nice mods.. it looks very professional.. ive seen some tacky mods.. yours looks like xcilio did it themselves.. i think ima have to go full tower n get me one..

  • Where did you get the window kit?

  • @MattyMattMatt100 Window kit? I cut it with a dremmel and hand-jig-saw, then cut a piece of plexi to fit.

  • Where did you get the window kit?

  • Can you mod it with different colored LEDS?

  • @MattyMattMatt100 I'm sure you could rewire them in there but I wouldn't bother with that tedium.

  • I respect the goate

  • Nice mods, I used the same case when building a comp for my dad. It's fantastic, no pun intended.

  • I see what you did there. I'm getting this case when I build my own computer and wanted to know, is there any need to get another fan or do the in CPU fans take care of it?

  • Have you built a pc before? The cpu has 1 fan, and if you look at the product description on the case, it only comes with the 2 side fans (they're intake fans). All the CPU fan does it direct some of the internal air INTO the cpu cooler. Ergo: you NEED some exhaust fans.

  • @viperabs I'm having my first computer build soon, and I am between this case, and the A380. Is this case that great?

  • @c0d3w0rd My case is great, but the a380color is the most superior case on the planet. I've built 2 new pc's in the last month with it. Silent, colorful, and beautiful.

  • @viperabs So should I get the A380color? Money isn't a problem as long as it doesn't go above $200, then it's just overkill.

  • @c0d3w0rd Haven't even checked your prices, have you? 100$ for the a380color.

  • @viperabs Little... TEEHEE moment here.

On newegg, the windtunnel is $85 with discount, $130 without. The A380color is $170 without, and 140 with discount.

Upon second checking with prices, I think I'll go with the A380color. I had a first instinct towards it, and then leaned towards the windtunnel, but still thought the A380 was cool, so yeah :D

    Anyways, I subscribed.

I'm thinking of getting things overtime, I dunno.

  • @viperabs I have a Sapphire Toxic Radeon HD 5970 graphics card which measures 1 foot long so it does not fit.It hit the hard drive cage is there any way to remove it?Or turn around in an Aerocool engine plus case?

  • well I figure the air can find its way out of the case without an exhaust fan, but I went ahead and tossed an exhaust fan on the rig I made. Also, I used a Zalman CNPS9900 for my cpu fan which I guess is a little overkill. Really with those two big fans you shouldn't worry too much about temp unless you overclock to extremes.

  • hey man how did you install the 2 fans on top of the case? im getting this and i wanna do the same..

    -MMC

  • I used a Dremel and a drill for the screw holes. Make your pattern using a CD, cut with the Dremel, and then use a fan grill to find your holes. Easy enough?

  • yeah man thats great, thankyou

  • hey i also need to know how many (mm W) is the door, because im going to be puting 2x 200mm fans on top, so i would need to have it in the right place to look even on both ends. know what i mean

  • nice window on the case. pretty nice job.

Where can i get that window cause im going to do that.

And did you cut an opening on the inside, so u can tuck away all the wires

  • I got a piece of lexan from home depot. It was 4'x4' and 12$. Make sure you check for scratches on it before you buy it! I didn't cut any openings on the inside, but I did hide my wires by clever wire routing. The case is HUGE, you know...lol

  • ah ok. I've been looking for the case all night last night, online. Man... was it ever hard to find one in stock. But i think its the same version you have, but oh well. I'll have to add like 2-3 fans on top.

And the total price im getting it for is $109 with shipping - Is that reasonable?

  • i like this case it looks better than the antec 900 which in the same price range which is better for performance wise aka cooling etc reviews say its not bad

  • I wish antec would succumb to the superior design of quick-clamps on your hdd's and cd drives, and also side-mount their hdd's on the inside.

  • nice case

  • The lights on the front of mine don't work :(

Do you know how I could fix that?

  • Which ones are you talking about? You DO have to plug them in inside of the case for them to work...

  • The temperature readout AND the X at the top don't light up. Which ones do I plug in and to where?

PS - The side fan LED's do work, and a little blue power LED does as well.

How do I get the Temperature readout and xClio logo to light up?

  • sick looking case dude, i applaud ur modding. does the windtunnel come with dust filters?

  • No, I home made one for the big fans using painter's tape and some high-quality VIVA paper towels. They work very well though. Case doesn't even see dust on the inside. I don't think the new model comes with any fans other than side and top either...

  • cool, thanks

  • nice job,

i recently uploaded a vid of my xclio too.

pc modding is great fun and the results can be awesome, even from simple idea's.

been a fan of xclio's cases for some time now. although all of them are the same internally, the company just changes the case cosmetics for each model.

  • Yeah, and now they're same as ABS and some other brand. I really like their huge case with the "awesome fans" on it. Its monster.

I'll check your vid out bro!

  • What type of power connector does the two big fans use? Practical 3 pin? Also do you have the model with the front 120mm fan port? I saw on the website that the case comes with 2 big fans and a 120mm fan port in the rear and the front.

  • dust fliters?

  • nice

    i like the green

  • Thanks bro!

  • nice! :), been looking at this case for a while now, once i have the money for the parts that i want, this case is definitely the case i want them in :D so sexy lol, btw did u think it was necessary to install extra 2 top fans? just wondering what mods ill have to do when i get it, that side window is nice :) what did u use to cut it out? and what material is that glass/plastic cover? how'd u install it? screws?glue?tape? lol nice set up u got there

  • so hows this thing holdin up? i got a chackra with a 250mm fan on the side and i need somthing with ALOT more airflow im running a 9800GX2 and this thing runs HOT (89*c), and i need more room as well would you say this is along the lines of thermaltake cosmos big?

  • Well the Chackra is a mid-tower, whereas mine is a full-tower. Its the same size as the cosmos, but the cosmos also has those handles and rounded edges. I've got tons of internal room because its a BOX. I'd say get the thermaltake armor if you need all the airflow in the world though. The FULL size armor, not the plus model or anything.

  • right on

    and btw nice mods!

  • Lol I've got this case, but i really dont like what you did. No offense. And I think you screwed up the airflow, because your temp is 26 celsius, mine on full load, with a 9800gtx+ and Q8200 OC at 2.66 ghz is only 19-20 degrees ( without top fan and extras uve added) O.o

  • "No offense"? Are you dumb? Remember, not everybody keeps their room temp the same. Mine's set to 75 because I like it warm. Also depends where you put the temp sensor, and mine is on the processor block. Think before you post.

  • it comes with a temp sensor?

  • hey man can u help me out i bought a windtunnel and i dont really understand how to put in the drivers thanks ^^

  • I got the ABS Monolith, the replica of this one.

I love it, i attached a red light to the back of it and now i am thinking of connecting a green fan to the top.

I already have a BLUE CPU cooler inside and that pimps up my inside.

A couple of cathode tubes will make my room a disco.!!

  • Well the 900's are the best seller, but after building a bunch of pc's, I really like the Xclio cases. I'd rather their new model of this though: it comes with a 140 in the top. There's alot of room for mods on this one (and small children can fit inside it too...)

  • Yo dawg, I see you like recording, so we put a recorder in your recording so you can record while recording.

  • frekin sweet!

  • damn nice set up lol. its my dream hahaha

we have the same webbies lol
