Yes, 10 days ago the entire village was in state of emergency due to the huge fire near it (around 12km length). Fortunately the wind and the FD managed to contain it before anyone was harmed.
OMG that's very fortunate that the fire was contained. I've seen some horrific pictures of the land and victims this past weekend. How are things going now? I hear it's pretty crazy still, not with the fire, but with people getting their gov't cheques and other trying to rip off the cheques, etc.
