Thank you for supporting gay marriage. We have already had two protest rallies in San Francisco and people are pissed that Prop 8 passed. I am looking forward to the legal challenges and I hope the outcome brings gay people the right to marry and ends this discrimination towards a minority.
Here in Florida Proposition #2 unfortunately passed. It was to "protect marriage as the legal union of only one man and one woman." I personally don't care what my union is called. Our proposition also stated that "no other legal union that is treated a marriage or the substantial equivalent thereof shall be valid or recognized." Why are the last 18 years of my monogomous relationship invalid?
I love this, it completely refutes all those things that prop 8 supporters believe or speculate about.
