  • put the ball a little further back in your stance.

  • ysong, i like how your maintain your spine angle throughout your swing, chin held high, good tempo and balance, would like to see your left arm when you set up (down the line view) which will position your shoulders more squarely at address ie, left should slightly higher than right shoulder. But well done, keep practicing and spend more time from inside 100yds if you want to score well.

  • Wish I could swing like that

  • just ugly

  • 1. ur setting up for a fade (open stance)

    2. you go over the top

  • 2 problems -

    1. over the top

    2. standing up on downswing

  • nice swing ;)

  • like others mentioned, i think your set up needs fixing. your shoulders are aiming left, probably no spine tilt..therefore right arm too high. suspect you hit it high with a cut? your club is not releasing properly due to over the top move.

  • See how he barly swings the club. All the speed is coming from the lower body exactly what you want

  • Thats overal a beautiful swing can't really complain

  • your lower body is what creates club speed...using your hands creates inconsistency

  • It is your wrists that generates the speed of the club. Where the ball goes however is your timing of the turning of the hands at the moment of impact (slice is too slow turn, hook is too fast), and how the club comes at the targetline (inside-out starts right, outside-in starts left).

  • nice shot really

  • Tempo reminds me of Ernie Els. Do you have a slice. It appears that you are coming over the top just a little bit. Try taking the club up a little steeper. Hop this helps!

  • I think the camera angle makes it seem a little more outside-in than it is.

  • perfect swing plane.... and abraves119 is totally right its all about accuracy.

but anyway for more distance on the swing you have, work on shifting your weight alot quicker from your downswing.

Also try getting lower to the ball bending from your hip.

  • not bad at all, really. Pay more attention to your set up. Do you hit a fade more often than a draw because your shoulders are open at address which leads to your slight "over the top move." I hate using phrases to classify a golf swing but you are a little steep coming into it. Remember, setup is probably the most important characteristic to improving the consistency of your swing.

  • a little flat and inside at the take away, check out myswing although Im the opposite slightlty shut with the takeaway

  • You seemed hesitant when you adressed your ball.

  • Missingsolution is right--the freedom and inside path (through the ball) in your practice swing is missing in your live swing. You can see the tension right from your setup onward. Club is forced back too far inside, then lifted and over the top on the way down. Forget positions for awhile; think motion.

  • weak...u will never be lower than a 10 hdcp...

  • its a ok swing.

  • how far where they goin?

  • doesn't matter i fucking hate when people ask that golf isn't about distance it's about accuracy

  • calm down, calm down DONT GET A BIG DICK!! i can see if there goin stright. fuck, im just wondering

  • looks like a hottie walked by

  • oh yeah at 1:38.. i see that lol

  • i reckon that you needa fix:

-the way the clubhead travels back(its outside the line at the start),

-your posistion at the top: the club doesnt aim down the target line,

-you needa fix your alignment, your feet dont line up with your shoulders, causing you to pull your shots left or slice them.

You do have a pretty awesome swing, i reckon fix those flaws and you should be doing well mate. keep up the good work.

  • Laid off at the top. Need to stay on plane through backswing to top of swing.

  • hes on plane, its just a really flat one.

you take the club from the inside and then come across the ball. your open set up will not help this. fix your set up first then work on coming more inside

  • great swing take a look at mine thanks

  • In your practice swing you take the club on plane and then loop under(ideal). However, when you swing to hit the ball, you come slightly over the top on the downswing. Looks like you just take a little too much time over the ball and allow tension to build up in your arms. Relax and just hit it........your swing in solid.

  • it just looks like a slice b/c of the camera angle. try adjusting the camera so you can barely see your left arm at address. that'll make your shots look straighter on camera. nice swing btw man

  • not bad but try and make your take away more rounded, think wide to narrow to wide.

  • Blatantly pirated that comment off of Charles Howell III swing vision. haha "wide to narrow to wide" what a loser

  • Sorry bout that my stupid lil brother gets on my computer and says random shit to people he does'nt know, anything about golf in the first place. You can go to mine and leave a rude message an will be even no hard feelings cool...

  • Nice GAY FADE take a lesson idiot! At least your ready to wake boarding in that get up.

  • who r u his dad u arse licker ,he sliced is that not obvious

  • yeah i agree that all of you giving him advice are total faggots unless hes hitting the damn ball bad.

seeing someone strike the ball with that much ease and making it go straight just comes to show that every body's swing is unique.

  • ur swing plane is not right

  • agreed. choke down on the club a bit more... close your stance... swing from in to out

  • down the slice

  • The swing is great, but you need just a little work on swing plane. If you look at take away portion of your swing, you are taking the club outside the desired path, subsequently you come from the outside on the downswing. You need to square your take away and get it on the right path and you will start hitting shots with predictable trajectories.

  • just hit down on the ball, dont hit up... try to put a drag when u get contact on the ball and you'll see a rising trajectory, keep you plane a little steeper, just a little then probably u'll get more distance, i his my 7 iron on 190s 80% shots, i really dnt go for the 100% shots anymore, a little adjustment with the plane + the drag on the contact part you'll probably add 20 more yards with your 7

  • 160 yards with a 7 irons easy.. al i surgest m8 is bringing it steeper gr8 swing tho

  • nice dude. i hit mt 7 iron 160 and im 11. u have a good finish. u should come steeper on the ball and release more.

  • 160 yards with a 7 iron, at 11, dont fink so m8 thts around about an average for the average tour pro

  • you are cutting across, not hitting down. watch all the swing visions, they dont hit up or cut across on the ball, hit down!

  • i think the reason ur hitting them high is because ur leaning back at impact which makes ur loft higher, try to lean forward a bit more and to hit through the ball.

  • looks like u cut the ball big time

  • solid swing, smooth, but im just wondering does your shots go a little high and short?

  • yep thats exactly what my shot does. gets in the air too fast... hard for me to get a proper rising trajectory.

  • yeah there's a bit of power leakage with your uncocking the wrist on downswing too early, once u master that, u'll keep up with your buddies

  • do you cut the ball??? the ball seems to go pretty high, try putting it back in your stance, might improve your ball striking!

  • dont listen to the first guy your swing is perfectly on plane. As for your distance, it'll come around but 165 w/a 7 iron is longer than about 50% of professionals.

  • good

  • how far are you hitting that 7 iron?

  • well i hit it right to the 165 flag, which i think is more like 155-160

  • yeah i hit my 7 about 175-180

but you have an amazing and fluid swing

  • Thanks dude! Yea i cant seem to hit my irons as far as some of my friends. Think it has to do with my club head lag issues.. or maybe i'm just too weak haha

  • yeah but its kids like us

well idk how old you are

but we are the ones that are gunna be the next PGA tour winners and stuff

    but keep it up man

  • Where is your target? Your practice swings are pretty good, but when you set up to the ball you are open to the target. This is making you take it outside which, with everyone, results in a cast motion to try to get the ball to keep the ball from going right.

  • hey randomly watching swings.your swing aint bad but when you start the downswing your casting the club off line.look at your video and ull see what im saying .one way of stopping this is just feel like your pulling the club down with your left side
