Yeah I used a facial rig and the entire animation was done by hand.
The bones were positioned above and below the eyes, in the nose, above and below the mouth, etc.
Basically near anything that I wanted to have move. After the rig was set up I paired it to the mesh and then used keyframe animation to animate the entire thing by hand.
Yeah it wasn't easy but that's what my assignment required...hope that helps
Nice, but tell how did you achieve this. Did you use an skeleton? How did you position the bones, etc? I'm new to Blender and I trying to do something similar.
