    Epic.

  • Honestly the BEST (I mean the number 1) free PROGRAM out there... Many Thanks to the developers, Thank you so much...

  • What a great software, very well writen and tremendously useful, yet free! Only occasionally do I need to make use of Guitar Pro or other paid music notation software. Thank you so much to the developers!

  • hmmmm very positive thumbs up to thumbs down ratio. i think ill download this program

  • when i download it, it says "this type of file can harm your computer, do you want to continue" ......

  • @edosmartacwarlarsh i think you try it and if it works, what your computer warned you about will be irrelevant...

  • Can Musescore PLAY pdf files? If not, what can?

  • @zmanofwar3 MuseScore can't play pdf files, but you can use music scanning software to convert the pdf into a format that MuseScore can read (such as Music XML or MIDI). Photoscore is one example of music scanning software but I'm sure there are others too.

  • Hi All,

I jus downloaded Musecore 1.0 (mac version ) and I wrote my first score in it... But unfortunately Musescore is creating Tie notes after the fourth bar , 4/4 common signature... The first four bars are correct.. but in the fifth bar a crotchet and three quavers are present .. (1 crotchet 1count + 3 quavers 1.5 counts = 2.5 counts .. m unable to add remaining 1.5 counts within the fifth bar... ) ho to sort this issue.. can someone help me pls....

  • @Jaikumar257 I would probably delete the contents of the 5th bar and try again. If that doesn't work, head over to the MuseScore forum on the MuseScore website and post your question there. You can upload your score so someone can have a look at it.

  • How do I add more staves?

  • @TekelBrighteyes lol Never mind, I found it. XD

  • I just downloaded this awesome program. Thank you so much for the videos. They are awesome and make using the program a breeze.

  • Katie Wardrobe FTW.

  • I'm trying to create a choral score with both a bass and a treble clef, how would I do this in one instrument?

  • How do you add more staffs? When I add more they're replicas of "Staff 1."

  • thx alot for all these video tutorials... its perfect.. i'll try to learn musescore from ur vids..

  • HOW CAN WE INSERT A PAUSE AT THE BEGINNING OF A BEAT???

  • This video is corrupted. The second half of it won't play.

  • @KareemMakk It could have been a temporary issue. The video plays ok for me.

  • Im having some trouble with the page backround. How do i set it to the normal blank page instead of the tan page. I am using windows seven.

  • @Mrmusicmaster88 You can change the page background in MuseScore's Preferences. I'm on a Mac so it's in the Musescore menu, but I think on a PC it's under Edit > Preferences. Click on the Canvas tab and then under Notesheet, choose Colour. Select the colour (I just use good old white!), click Apply and then OK.

  • @MuseScoreHowTo THANK-YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! YOU SERIOUSLY SAVED MY LIFE! TT___TT i have a music project due tomorrow and you came in the nick of time!

  • hi, great video.

Just to remember that the link on the description has an extra ")".

  • @rlameiro Thanks! The typo is fixed.
