Enterprise knows what's going on onboard her; I can only imagine the conversations she and V'Ger had during TMP. I'll bet you anything, though, that they had a running bet about Kirk and Spock, simply because EVERYBODY has a running bet about Kirk and Spock.
Yes, even the Klingons. The fella at the end of STV probably got a bit of dough for making Spock curse at him...
What a sweet foretaste of things to come! Is the music from a ballet? It's so, so familiar but I'm not musical... once you say, I will think "how did I not know that!" but of course there's no way to google a phrase of music :P
Ah!Ah!Ah! This is cute indeed! The idea is brilliant and the music...wow!
But you are right: the ship is telling the future! In those early days Enterprise and Enterprise only was the one true love for Kirk!
And I cannot leave out your clever and tasty choice at 0:24 - 0:25 he was the charm made man: tose pics you chose are the evidence that beauty survives and that is not transitory (as Spock said once)! ^_^
Yes! Kirk is indeed "tasty" (perfect word) in those shots. (That beautiful look of pleasure is for his old friend Gary Mitchell, lying in sick bay.)
One of the things I love about making vids is that I notice the details of the show so much more (because I am spending hours and hours--you know!--looking for the right picture).
Truly Kirk is in love with the ship--but we know that he will sacrifice even her for his friend.
Aww... that was incredibly cute! I love it when Spock suddenly gets the idea of asking what the ship thinks of Kirk... and such a wise ship it is, too!
For some reason, youTube won't let me link to your vid "Spock in Love" in this comment box, but I want to say that this vid is partly a dialogue with your story about Spock falling in love with a computer.
It seems the Enterprise knows all, past and present...and future!
LOVE THIS!!!

You can imagine, I chortle to myself as I make them (in between pulling my hair out and gnashing my teeth at the technology involved).
But all that time with Kirk and Spock... My pleasure!

Please tell me the last line isn't foretelling you leaving youtube! Tickled, as always.

So you're saying you *want* more of Kirk's poetry mangling? : )

Yes, please! ;)

I love it anytime Jim calls Spock "Mister" !
TKeid 3 years ago
Yes, and when Spock calls Kirk "Jim"--but he's totally in "Sir" and "Captain" mode here.

Haha. That is very cute. I love Spock's reaction "But...there is no one else...!" So clueless. :D Adorable.

I too think it's adorable how Spock's all, "Whomever could that be?"
These two are so adorable together, I could eat them with a spoon!

I'm glad people are enjoying this!
T'Keid: Yes! "a sweet foretaste"! If anyone's seen all the way through Search for Spock, they know how Kirk/Spock/Enterprise all plays out...
And you're close, guessing the music is from a ballet!
It's music based on folk dance:
Hungarian Dances No. 5 in G Minor, by Johannes Brahms.
It turns up a lot in movies and stuff, so I think people might have heard it somewhere.
(I wrote this and more details under "more info" in the description box, top right.)

brilliant! The way their expressions perfectly match the words is great!

Thanks! Kirk (or should I say Shatner), especially, makes it really easy to make up new dialogue, because his face is so wonderfully expressive.
What a glorious ridiculous honey bear!

I added the ship's wink as an afterthought. Thankgod: it really dots the "i". ; )
