i have the same exact real and rod combo you have but when i do that trick when u get a backlash (apply pressure and wind it ) my spool dosent move

this is the exact thing i do to fix backlashes but i never rly get backlashes anymore since ive been using baitcasters for about 2 years now and i hardly get them. O btw are bassproshops reels good? i was thinking about getting one do u recommend it cuz i normally stick with my quantums shimanos and pinnacles so reply to me if u recommend one ty.

@Probassfisherman99 I know you didnt ask me, but Bass Pro Shops reels are great! I have the Pro Qualifier and for $100, it is absolutely amazing. Their CarbonLite and Johnny Morris reels are great too!
