  • My 5 buns that live together would have that screen half way across the room by the next day.

  • I use this for my bun bun Duchess (and for my previous bunnygirls) it works great! I've had no problem with them chewing it. Since they're mini rexes I put hay on top of it just to be sure. Thank you for this product!

  • I'm interested in ordering one of these, but I'm afraid that my bunny might chew on it. Is there a way to prevent my bunny from possibly chewing on it?

  • @chrissysaurus None of my bunnies have ever chewed on it and I haven't heard of that being a problem. However, there is no way for me to guarantee the behavior of your bunny. :(

I cover my screen with hay as my Vivian likes to sit in there for longer periods and eat hay, so because of the time she spends in there, I like to add softness and munchy stuff all at the same time. :) Maybe that will distract your bunny.

  • Hi! I was wondering if using this screen prevents bunnies' back paws from getting stained from their urine? Thanks!

  • @jennylam05 Yes, it can help keep bunny free from urine (you of course still have to change litter like you normally would. I have a white bunny and he's feet are pretty darn white. In the afternoons you can usually spot him on our webcams< (on binkybunnyDOTcom), with his feet and tail toward the camera. Note: I put hay over the screen so that is added comfort and separation.. But it makes it very easy to toss just that out without it getting mixed in with litter.

  • what size is the litterbox in the video. I use the standard size litterbox. which screen would be appropriate thnx

  • @RamboBunBun The size of the box in the video is Petmate "Large" (18.5 x 15.3 x 5.3). The screen the best fits it is size Large. If you still question the size then the best way to figure out which one fits your box is to measure about 1/2 in or inch up from the bottom (as the screen will go over the litter) and then check out the sizes of our screens in the store.

  • Just ordered one of these :) Can't wait to get it ^^

  • Hi had a question... what if the sides are too low and they urinate outside the box? Are the boxes very high? or too low?

  • @meechingurl It is an average height box. (5.3" H) It's not the kind with low low sides . However, depending on the litter and how much litter you use and the size of your bunny, if you think that your bunny would pee over the edge of the litter box, you can just order a screen that best fits a litter box you already have. If we don't have that size, email us at the main binkybunny site or post here the size of your litterbox as we are gathering info for other popular sizes.

  • Thank you for asking that question! It is a finer net so the bunny's weight is not being forced onto to only a few wires as in wire cage bottoms. However, if you have a Rex breed, they typically have thin hair on the bottom of their feet so with any hard bottom, (pelleted litter) a soft topping is better. I do prefer putting a light topping of hay over litter (even if there is a hay rack) as it seems to encourage good box habits- screen makes it easy to lift out that layer of hay when soiled

  • That's a neat idea! I'm just wondering if the screen is good for their feet? I've always heard that wires are not good for sore hocks. Is this the same thing?

  • Finally! I will definitely be ordering a few of those

  • I'm SO glad you guys offer this product!!! I've been looking EVERYWHERE to find something like this and everything I've found is either too hard on their feet or the holes are waaaay to big. Ordering two now!

  • first!
