I have one of these, i was going to put in a 3600 kva with a 60a speed controller and a 3cell lipo. Why didn't i, ITS SCALE. The best way to go is a good speed controller and make sure the drive is parallel to the hull bottom, if the nose runs high ( ploughs) move the battery forward and if needed the servo box as well. Add a large 2 cell lipo 5000 ma. and your motor will last year and your run times will be 40 minutes or more. Trev
