It's too bad you watched a video before playing the game for yourself. When I first played this ten years ago, there was not an enormous amount of info on the Internet about video games.
Ofcoarse. This is just for speed runs. I don't really encourage speed runs unless you have played the game a lot over the years. If you just picked up the game, then you should not do speed runs.
Me too. Speed runs are boring for me.... Even though I love challenges, I never have any interest in speed runs because they kill the pleasure of experiencing a game's whole playthrough in its entirety and I get bored when I'am not experiencing the most a playthrough of any game has to offer.

you dont need the gold and silver rings to get to the second castle in a speed run...you just need wolf form.

Clever. You should use a library card to get out of the spike room after obtaining the ring.

That works, or you can just do it the same way as you got in so you don't have to go all the way to the library...
