MvC3 Crossover Counter Aerial Hyper Cancel w/ Morrigan and Sentinel

So I'm not the only one that noticed you couldn't SCF into a super. Good, I'm not crazy.

It's a cool idea but you wasted 4 bars on for 400k damage and they could have DCH in to another super that has a good amount of invincibility. I think this will only really work with hypers that have a good amount of frames of invincibility that are level ones. (like X-23 or C.Viper or Deadpool, even though they need to touch the floor.

@GossipXGuy Obviously Morrigan's is impractical. I put it for completions sake. Phoenix can do it too. The "find" of this was that you can cancel the crossover counter w/ an air super as they are jumping in. Regular crossover attack->super was nothing new (Think Cable crosscounter to AHVB)

Most assists will get stuffed before you can cancel into invincible hypers though, b/c the moves are invincible. Exceptions, CapAM S&S->HS&S, Ryu SRK->ShinTatsu, Akuma SRK->MssSRK.

Some other characters can counter a projectile hyper combo too, like Cap's Hyper Charging Star

How do u do hyper combo cross over? I know how to do a ragular cross over but how do u do that as a hyper? I play this game in the 360 so what buttons do I press?

Stupid question, can you advance guard first and then cross counter? I don't mean that through a series of a technique that can stay out there and chip you for awhile, I'm talking about one blunt hit and then pull in for a quick switch non raw switch. I'm pretty sure that it's only situational now isn't it?

This is good if you dont wanna Xfactor escape and punish early in the match

@DimitriLionheart You won't have 3 bars so early in the match, though it's a handy tool to have anyway. Besides as for countering this all you have to do is an instant air hyper with Sentinel, it has hyper armour which beats almost every other move in the game. Just do a quick jump into it or quick fly.

Great info man. I did this by accident once, not during my opponents hyper, but randomly. Never thought it would blow through a DHC if it had invincibility. Nice stuff.

Also agree on the sent comment, I play him myself and I feel like the faster characters have more ways in than people realize right now.
