@ThePitbullMafia dancers usually wear less clothing so the judges can see clearly of their control over techniques and such. It's also much more comfortable and doesnt slow you down this way. no hate, just letting u know

When you dance barefoot a lot, you develop calouses on your feet, and it doesn't hurt to turn on them anymore. I know a lot of dancers who will also rub baby powder on the soles of their feet so they're slick. But that can be dangerous if someone in tap shoes or pointe shoes is using the stage after you.

some dance barefoot but besides that they can also wear nude color "foot undies" or paws" (name varies depending on where u get it)..that only cover the sole of the foot..that's how they can do the turns :)

But she might as well be dancing without music, cus she is not using it, atleast not most of the time. and the worst thing of it all is that she totaly misses the "power" of the song at the end, cus she already danced intense and powerfull in the beggining.

look at 0:20 - 0:23 , 0:50 - 0:53. those are made while the music is still soft and non-intense.

compare those to ~ 1:50. the music is several times more intense, but she is with the intensity shown earlier in the performance. That makes her dance feel like there wasnt as big of intensity change as there could have been.

i watched it again, and i do now see that during the intense part she acutaly uses it well, but i still feel "spoiled" by those incidents in the beggining.
