He implies that prior to world war two that the US was in the in the Indian subcontinent expanding west. Is this true? I thought before the war it was Britain and Russia vying for influence. The "game" that the British played is could be replayed this time over oil.
@andygavin he didn't imply America was expanding in the Indian subcontinent, he said that at the same time as the great game took place between RUssia and England in Central Asia, the American republic was expanding into its western territory (aka the west coast into california etc)
Isn't China moving into Central Asia? If Central Asians can sell their gas and oil to China then there are at least three major powers moving in there. Maybe also India -- ONGC protested the sale of PetroKazakhstan to China.
u re right.Hopefully all Caucasian republics like Georgia and Azerbaijan will gain full stability and free foreign policy by getting membership in NATO.
