I have a feeling I know what this is. It's a US Gov SDI weapon, which they're trying to simulate Russian SDI weapons.

Those spikes of light around it look like electricity generated either from dark energy OR most likely magnets

Incredible! Absolutely frustrating to no end that not one iota of information or explanation (theoretically or otherwise)has come from government or NASA. NASA being government funded (Taxpayers), we ought to cut funding if they continue with this unnecessary censorship or disinformation behavior. This is obviously of importance and interest to the public, yet we get silence! Enough!
