What's so good about this phone? I think it's a rip of and it sucks. First it's a frigging flip phone!! That went out of style years ago. Second it's not even a touch screen, there's no qwerty keyboard, nor does the browser support flash, external display buttons suck I mean it's a rip off for $250 seriously with that u could buy a ps3, 360, or just a much better phone for lower

I hate this phone. Ive had it for a year. And now looking for a phone. It was very good in the beginning but then it stopped charging to a full, So I got a new charger and it worked okay but recently it just stopped charging it wont turn on or anything. If your looking for a phone that is good for about a year then this is it. It was a good phone for sure. I just have some problems with it.

@cr9vnc On the back part, take off the cover, and right beneath the battery (on the middle right hand side) there's a red circle. If it's red, the phone's good. If it's white, it's been water damaged already. I bought this phone used, but the guy didn't tell me it had been damaged already. I had problems with it, and someone told me about that small circle.  It worked well after I bought it a new battery, but I wasn't happy about the damage, though. Be careful. Hope it doesn't happen to u.

I have seen this phone anywere from $239 - $300 dollars. $250 on Boost Mobile's website. I bought the BlackBerry Curve 8330 from Boost Mobile for $250 & $60 a month unlimited. It Blows this phone away. It does everything this phone does, music, video, and a lot faster web then any iDEN network will ever be. Same price, 10 times the phone. I started w/ Boost almost 3 years ago w/ the Motorola i855e & soon after they discontinued it & brought out this phone. I will never go back to iDEN

Yes it has video, but for the same money you can buy Boost Mobile's BlackBerry curve 8330 that is 10 time the phone. And yes the BlackBerry has video. And the internet is 10 times faster then a iDEN network phone. Really, dont buy this phone, get the BlackBerry.

why is it that everyone talks bad about this phone? its always" the texting is so slow", thats all its ever about....texting!!! im not a texter but i had this since it came out and my texting is just fine! and not all messages have to be downloaded, some are. if you set it to automatic it does it just fine! i send and receive messages with no problems! i rarely get dropped calls, if any! and the $50 monthly has saved me so much money! the i9 is a real nice phone!!

I had boost for awhile only hing I noticed is the more expensive phones Break faster than the heaper one's. I have the krazr looking phone and had battery problems with that. the razor looking phone same thing battery problems and alot of freeze up's.. the black berry looking one charger and freeze ups. I9 buttons dont work and now they dont even sell the phone at certain stores anymore lol.... Great plain but horrible phones.. I thank god the cheap boost phone hasnt broke yet.

If ur interested in getting this phone..DON"T..this phone sucks, texting is garbage the the messages have to be downloaded yes "downloaded"..its takes for ever!! texting is only on MMS no MSN..the internet sucks, the apps are crap no good..replying to text mesgs u have to delete the mesg that show up automatically on ur replyed mesg..one other thing when taking pictures: if u keep the light on it will flash if not it won't, also it always make the shutter sound u cant stop it.

Its a Great phone!!! And Boost Service was just updated and txting works great! Internet could use some speed and a bit more options! I cant watch Youtube on the i9! Wonder why! Other than that!! every boost mobil phone SUCKS!!!it looks cool when u look at it online. the sreens in every phone is pretty small giving it a small chance of watchin videos on it. the camera mode looks awful when u take picture, looks all squary and same when recording videos. then it takes too long to send messages and freezes alot.

i have this phone and its the most expensive piece of crap i ever bought. Moto software is horrible and has no good apps.

Also for the texting you have to wait a year to receive the text and sometimes you have to restart the phone to receive it.

i9 has very bad battery life and is hard as hell to type in. The i465(Clutch) has the QWERTY keyboard and has a very long battery life. The camera on the Clutch is a VGA that is (almost) a megapixel, the camera on the i9 is 3.1 MP and has a flash and it also has the outside screen which can be used for just about anything except texting. I have the i465(Clutch) and I love it, I have had the i9 but, got rid of it due to battery life being suckish. So, I would say get the i465.
