  • have you done plastic surgery before??

  • @HmongCinderella No, I haven't. Even though there are things I wish were a bit different, I believe plastic surgery isn't something that would help make me feel better about my appearance. Plus, I do not have the courage to risk something that will last my entire life. >< I know this sounds cliche, but I truly think having a beautiful personality will show in your smile & actions, so I would much rather learn to become a better person and artist, since I am a dancer and love performing. :)

    can you please answer.. :)

    you have beautiful skin

  • @sandra48303 I actually discovered the product a few weeks before I filmed this video. I don't use it too often, just once every 2 weeks or so. (b/c I am lazy and also do not want to rely on products too much ><) I will do an updated skincare routine sometime soon, so please stay tuned!

  • i want your skin so badly XD

  • u have flawless skin!!

  • @danceandmelodee Can you do a tutorial on what body wash/moisturizer you use for your body?

  • Thank you for posting this. Do you have a link where people in the USA can buy the Japanese skin care products (except for Shesido, that's all I use)? Plus, I purchased from Korea, a Nivea brand of sunblock that is SPF 50 that says it's also "5 in1" it is 1.) SPF50 PA++ (what does the PA++ mean?) 2.) it's whitening, 3.) collagen protection 4.) DNA protection and I'm not sure what the 5th one is, because it's writen in Korean. I was told Korean and Japanese skin protects are the best in the world

  • I love your videos so much! I can't wait to find out the eye cream you use because I am in desperate need of one! (: Thanks for all your hard work!

  • What is the face sponge thing you used to make the face foam? :)

  • @gavibee It's basically a net that has 3 little sponges or net balls in it. Put some cleanser (ones that would become bubbly) on it, add a bit of warm water, and scrub it a bit to create a marshmallow like foam. I will demonstrate and go into further details + reasonings for this in an updated skincare routine video, but basically it makes it much more gentle for the skin, while making it many more times effective for cleansing. Definitely try looking for one at a Japanese supermarket! :)

  • @danceandmelodee what is it called? ^^

  • 日本語上手

  • @Garytest001 ありがとうございます!:)

  • could you please do a review or product info thing on BB creams that you use ?

  • @nekophia Yes, I'm planning to do a BB cream overview video! :) I think I found my HG BB cream, so I'll be sure to talk about it in the video. I may try a few more brands out before the video, though. Please stay tuned on my channel! :)

  • @danceandmelodee thank you so much ! :D

  • Love your videos! <3

May I know what facial cleanser do you recommend?

  • @jmfrani I recommend the Dove one I showed here, but also Biore cleansers are nice. :) Try to get the Japanese versions though, because they are much more gentle. As I showed in the video, create a foam before you cleanse-- it makes a huge difference! :)

  • @danceandmelodee thanks so much! you're so nice. :)

  • what editor do you use ?

  • @ix3BeastGK I always use iMovie :)

  • @danceandmelodee oh! hahah thanksss <3 btw, your'e so so so pretty!!!!! omg ;d

  • Wow. You sound so fluent in Japanese and you just learned it on your own. amazing!! How old are you anyway??

  • you are so pretty and fair skin wow your beautiful and i love your japanese but you should have had subtitles :S but yeah love it thanks youu!

  • @Communitychoud Thank you for your kind words >< Actually, I did add subtitles in this video for my viewers! Turn on the "Annotations" and you'll see what I said in Japanese. :) I do ALL of my videos subbed now though, in the video itself, for all of my English speakers and Japanese viewers.<3

  • @danceandmelodee Oh okay my bad i will read what you said now , that is good so we understand clearly what you're saying but your english is perfect so..but its good for viewers who are not so good at understand english but can read :)

  • @yoshigahawhaw Aww thank you so much for your kind words... :) <3 I have a very cool and interesting video coming up next that I haven't done before, so please stay tuned! ♪

  • hey, does the mint julep mask really work well? Does it shrink the pores? :)

  • @Nekoni1998 I hear Cetaphil works for many people who have different types of skin, and I've heard other gurus rave about it as well. I would also recommend something more gentle like the Japanese Biore facial cleanser (green colored packaging) b/c it cleanses very well. Check them out if you would like! :)

  • Today I found your channel and im loving them hope to see more vids

  • @ChocoMochiLover Thank you very much! Please look forward to them :) <33

  • @anamariedrobena88 Aww thank you for your kind words and compliment >< <3 Please look forward to my upcoming videos! :)

  • @NowakiTakahiro Thank you for the kind compliment!

  • Is the Naive deep clear oil cleanser (green one) also good for removing all sorts of makeup (mineral powder + eye makeup)? I saw this in a Japanese supermarket and I plan on buying it, but I 'd like to know if it dried out your skin after you use it......kinda like getting that squeaky clean feeling? Can you use it for regular cleansing besides removing makeup? Thanks!

  • @Enchanteralle Yes, I used to use it all the time and it removed all of my makeup nicely. (really loved it b/c it worked great for all the waterproof makeup i use as well b/c i dance.) For mee, it did not dry out my skin at all. A product works differently for everyone so I can't say exactly what it would be like for you ><, but it is a wonderful cleanser/make-up remover! I would use a separate face washing foam after removing makeup + deep cleansing with the green deep clear oil cleanser. :)

  • I used the Queen Helene mint julep masque it gave me a lot more acne but then they started to disappear I don't know how to explain that ps:love your vids

  • @Jasminejwilliams1412 Hmm... maybe your skin had a minor reaction to a new product, but it started working aftewards? :) I think it's a wonderful product for clearing up the skin and making it feel nice and fresh! I'm glad it helped, though! Thank you so much<3

  • Is the Kose Sekkisei cream paraben-free? What are the ingredients in it? I'm interested in ordering one for my dry skin. I heard that Japan banned the use of parabens in their skincare products so I'm wondering if you know anything about that.

  • @Enchanteralle I am pretty sure it is because Kose sells paraben-free products. (I'm sorry, the ingredients aren't listed on the product, but I looked it up and it seems so. ><) It works wonderfully for dry skin! I would def recommend it. :)

  • Your advice are very helpful. Thanks! Your skin looks flawless.

  • @fragilejasmine Yayy I'm glad to hear that :) I also have a huge Japanese Skincare & Makeup Haul video to be posted tonight, so please come by again. Thank you for the compliment!

  • @Life2Bliss Yes, I actually went to Osaka a couple months ago and looked for a roller I was going to buy for my good friend here on YT... but I had to search for SO many places until I found the same one I had. >< In Tokyo, you can most likely find it at a regular convenience store, but for some reason in Osaka I looked everywhere and finally found it on my last day there. ^^; Yes, online they mostly only sell plastic ones. :'( I hope you'll find a good one somewhere! You're welcome :)

  • @Life2Bliss The one shown here I bought at a convenience store in Japan was around $20 when converted from yen. Facial rollers can range from $15~$100+, depending on the size and it's features. Ones around $20~$30 in Japan would be good enough. :)

  • I really recommend the Biore パーフェクトオイル!

    頑固なマスカラやアイライナーも簡単に落ちるんですよ♪

  • @happix2mood そうなんですか :) ありがとうございます、チェックしてみますね!

  • Im your new subscriber :) xx

  • @zchu31 Thank you very much! :) xo

  • Do you have any good recommendation of japanese skin care products because I'm going to be visiting japan for a week this summer and I am planning to glab a few skin care items along my vacation. Please and thank you :)

  • @philippinegirl13 Please check out my "Must-Have Japanese Beauty Products!" videos for the best skincare items! :)

  • I'm just curious if minty facial products can dry out your skin. I heard a lot of great reviews for the Queen Helene mask you talked about. I have dry skin - with my cheeks being the driest parts of my face (dry patches) .Did it help your dry skin?

  • @Enchanteralle Hmm... I purchased this first in the winter and used it once a week or so, but it didn't dry out my skin. I haven't heard other people have problems with it, too. It doesn't help moisturize or anything, but it definitely helps your skin feel refreshed and clean after you wash it off. :) If you're not sure, try using it on other areas first, & if you feel like it works well for your skin, try a small amount on your cheeks. It's the summer, so it should be better to use as well. :)

  • can i ask u that when we wash our face...we should use cold water or warm water??which one??

  • @carol02086 When actually washing your face, you should use warm water so that the pores open up and you can clean them really nicely. After you're done, splash cool water to tighten up the pores. :)

  • DO YOU LIKE MALICE MIZER OR GACKT?? O.O

  • @master11superior Sorry, I don't really know much about them! ><

  • @danceandmelodee but...but... they are japanese! :( i love that mint mask too :) btw you are super kawai n i love ur japanese

  • @master11superior I know Gackt because he often appears in music programs with other jpop artists I know, but I don't think I know who Malice Mizer is >< Aww thanks for your kind words!<3

  • @imadinosoar625 Hi, and thank you for the kind comment! • @PandaPieCake Ahaha, thank you so much for the compliment! My parents made me speak Japanese as much as I could at home since I was very little, so that definitely helped a lot. :)

  • hello melodee :) Is that Hada Labo product at 10:43? Well, i got oily skin but i wanna try Shiseido facial cleanser. I don't know if it's good enough for my skin. I just prefer Japanese product :)

Anyway, your japanese is kawaii..and thanks for sharing!

  • @JungHaRin Yes, that is Hada Labo >< I can't recommend it b/c it felt not-so-great on my skin, and I thought it would be hydrating b/c of the ingredients in it, but it actually dried up my skin. :'( For cleansing, I would recommend something a bit harder (rather than something super milky) for oily skin, and then create a fluffy foam to gently take away the extra sebum. If I find any good cleansers for oily people, I'll definitely let you know. :)

Thank you so much for watching until the end!<3

  • Melodee, thanks for another great video! Can you tell me where you got your roller? About how much should one spend?

  • @HazelEleanor Thank you for watching!<3 I actually bought mine (the one I showed in this video) at a Japanese convenience store in Japan, but I'm sure you can find them at a Japanese supermarket over here as well! I would say, get one that is between $15~$30. There are ones that are $100+, but the cheaper ones work just fine, and I don't think it's necessary to purchase anything above $30 for this product. :)

  • 00:55 actually, "dark" chocolate is good for you. it has antioxidants that are good for your skin.

  • @yixphil Ohh, that's right~ I've actually heard of that before! But sadly, I don't like dark chocolate that much. :( I think it was that it's not the chocolate that directly produces acne, but it's about eating greasy food/sweets that makes it a lot easier for the skin to break out b/c it causes your skin to produce more oil. ><; I wish yummy food wouldn't create pimples! ^^; lol

  • If you close your pores after cleansing, is the serum & moisturizer that I put after will absorb in my skin?

  • @poohbearxo0o Well, splashing your face with cold water doesn't necessarily "close" the pores. (Sorry if I said it that way in the video! ><) It's more like they refresh and tighten them up. :) So, yes, your moisturizer and serum will still sink in and your skin will absorb it well!

  • i agree wtih slashing your cold face with water! it's supposed to help refresh your pores too. :D nice tips!! ^^

  • @sujugirl468 Yayy~ :) ♪ Yupp, it really does help to refresh and tighten up the pores! I even remember one Japanese model (with absolutely flawless skin!) who said that she splashes her face with cold water for 2 1/2 minutes every single morning and night!

  • Thanks for the video! I was watching a Korean show and they had a dermatologist and they said that toners are just to "clean your skin" one more time, kind of like rubbing alcohol is used to clean your wound area. But yeah its not neccessary :D

  • @tea4al You're welcome! <3 Also, thank you for helping me respond to another viewer's question. :) Yup, I purchased that toner after I read that it "thoroughly picks up and cleans out excess dirt, sebum, etc.", but I didn't see a difference at all for my skin... :( Maybe it'll come in handy during the summer though, when it gets much more hot and humid!
