  • When you transfer them can you take them out in the water..... it is because whe i tried to transfer the eggs others got squished, others died ....

  • Fascinating! They look like little spiders! Some clips of my Angels spawning & fertilizing on my page.

  • mine laid eggs on the filter ... right now its like the 2nd day there on it and ya.... my dad said not to move them like move the tube to a different tank.... can i do it anyways >:) lol

  • Well I wouldn't say go against your dad...(a mom talking here...lol) but if you've got other fish in the tank, the fry won't last long anyway. If it's just the parents, just turn off that filter and try getting a sponge filter in there. and let the parents do the work. If there are other fish and you want to try saving the babies, yes, you need to get them out asap.

  • so you can take them out of the tank and put them somewhere else without any sort of harm...right..... cause i dont know lol

like put a bucket of the fish tank water under it.. take the tube off and bring the bucket over to the breeding tank adn putting the tube with eggs on it inside the breeedinong tank...... is tht ok.........(its alot to read)

  • 5* theres only a few like 10 which are unfertilized. It's so cool to see them hatch

  • yeah I love watching them go from the eggs to the little wigglers...silly parents though love laying them on the filter tubes...*sigh* lol

  • Yup its kinda a bad idea since some might get sucked into them, well what I have is some pot specifically made for discus and Angels to lay their eggs on, it look triangular, once the eggs are layered and fertilized I put this Net over it so the Angels can't eat them but IF the eggs do drop the good parent angels put them in their mouth them put them back in place =] Angels are so cool.

  • yeah, they are silly fish:) when ever they do lay on the filter, I right away shut it off and take the eggs out.

  • good idea, at least that don't stop the cycle in the filter unless your wash it.

  • how would you take them out??? :)
