  • This almost brings tears to my eyes... because the time ABBA brought excitement to the world keeps drifting further and further away.

  • I had a dream, Like an Angel passing by told me, we are Under Attack by the Super Troupers of

Fernando, then Chiquitita told me, My Love, My Life; I told her, Ring, Ring, call me later Mamamia

The King Has Lost His Crown, call for SOS, I have to go, Hasta Mañana.

  • Sounds like a crazy storyline for Mamma Mia Part 2 Lepton! Song titles always had to be memorable for Abba!

  • @abbafanglosuk John, Who knows, I got Abba in my blood and I just can't have enought. It's great to have all this beautiful music. Take care my friend.

  • You're lucky, London people ! x[

  • That's right I visited Abbaworld in London in February and it was a fabbatastic day out! Now its the turn of Melbourne people to be lucky as Abbaworld has just opened down under on June 19th!

  • @abbafanglosuk

This song and "Intermezzo No.1" (both of them Single-B-sides in Switzerland) were and still are my favourite ABBA-tracks.

  • Good on you, they are both rarely heard but still brilliant. This storyline is quite heart warming and makes this melodic song even better!

  • Great job on the slideshow; I consider it a sneak preview of how ABBA World might look upon reaching the United States' west coast (New York City's a bit far for me). Las Vegas, NV, or San José, CA, perhaps?

  • Thanks, yes Abba World will look similar to this wherever they decide to exhibit it. I believe the organisers are planning a World tour, so its quite possible it could reach USA West Coast sometime in the future. There's a description of what visitors can expect to find and experience at Abba World underneath the video. It used to be at the side of the video and more easily readable, until youtube made some stupid and unwanted changes last month!

  • John maybe you can tell me how to play my "favorites," I can't seem to find the "play" button. Also I don't know how to make a playlist. When that square comes up, what do I put in there? Do I have to type in every f avorite or what? Also what's with the switching to "AVO" & back to U/tube again. I'm definitely - NOT- U/tube literate. Thanks Annie.

  • Hi Annie - dealing with favorites first. You can access these under the title "Favourites" in the top right of your channel or by clicking on your user name in the top right of your screen and then click on "Favourites". The videos can be played by either clicking on the video name or by clicking on the video itself. So long as the mouse cursor turns into a hand, then any video can be played!

  • Great song , have loved it for ages. So glad you posted it, John. I'm going to see "ABBA WORLD" with my daughter, on 19th June in Melbourne. I can't wait !!!!!!!!! will let you know what i think. Cheers............. Sydney, Australia

  • Thanks Annie, I reckon you'll love Abba World - there's loads to see and take part in. I went with my daughter in London in Feb, and we had a great day out. I had to have a break after these crazy unwanted youtube changes, but I'm getting back on track now!

  • Well done John. Great vid and review. I visited ABBA World on 5 Feb. It was fantastic. I enjoyed it so much I went around the 25 rooms twice!

  • Thanks Avril - I went on Feb 18 in school half term and spent all day there looking round at everything and was very impressed. There were lots of families with fascinated kids taking it all in and plenty of teenagers taking part in the dancing and sing-along. The younger generation is just as crazy about Abba as we are and now they can see how their great music was done - with lots of hard recording and remixing work in the studio and shutting yourself away on a Swedish island!

  • Awesome news Johnboy,....hmm...ABBAWorld comin' to a city near me,...better yet, i'll be checkin' their website out,...thanx for sharin' these GREAT news about the fab foursome from sweden and sendin' ya 5 shiny stars Johnny boy! = )

  • Cheers Jose - the next place its going to visit is Melbourne in June, as the Aussies have always been Abba-crazy! Then it goes to New York, with further plans to be decided. I visited a week ago Thursday and had a great day out seeing all their history, and had to be dragged out to catch the coach back home!

  • Wonderfull video dear friend

Did you go to ABBAworld ?

I hope it come soon to my city !!!

    Pepe from Argentina

  • Thanks Pepe - yes I went and saw Abba World in London last Thursday. It was a very good day out with all their history on display with commentaries and plenty of things to take part in. I just managed to exit in time to catch my coach back home! Its going on a world tour starting with Melbourne in June followed by New York. I don't think they've decided where next after that - so its always possible they might "Take A Chance On You"!

  • Great Job,John! I like this video! Uwe.

  • Cheers Uwe, I know there are some good official Abba World previews going round - so I made mine a bit different with this super song to listen to and a detailed write up of what to expect for the visitor!

  • This song is so lovely (a bit sad). Your vid is great and I am really happy with all the information you wrote. I wish they would come to California instead of NY......sigh..

Thank you John!.........Oh and I truly believe that Frida is still one classy looking lady.

  • Yes its a beautiful song Marie and Bjorn's delivery is absolultely perfect so that you believe its him in this emotional situation! I looked for give info that would be useful to anyone thinking of making a visit, so they would know what to expect making their way around. Yes its a long way right across your country, wheras we're a fraction of that size! You're right Frida does still looks great. That was a youngster, so let them off this time with a diplomatic response - unlike that rrhof one!

  • Frida actually don´t look so good at the first picture... she looks SO fat. :( / Abba FAN GRETA SONG!

  • It might be because they've been winning so many awards lately with all the celebrations after! Yeah you can't help loving this crazy song - its fantastic!

  • Thanks John, this music makes my heart melt. Love the pictures of Anni-Frid and Björn.

  • Yes everything about this song is perfect - nice melodic intro, heart warming storyline, beautifully sung chorus that stays in your mind and the up-tempo lift in the middle - all the ingredients that make Abba songs special are here! Bjorn and Frida and the group are justly getting the rewards for all the hard work that they put in 30 years ago and now the world is crazy about them again!

  • Wow. I really love it.. The song sounds so sad.. But I love the content of the video.. I wish I would able to go there after 10 years.. Haha :) thanks for sharing Uncle!

  • Thanks Marielle, yes its quite a moving song with that storyline, but he's crazy about her and it all comes good in the end! It looks a great exhibition to visit with all their history on display and plenty of things to take part in, so hope you won't have to wait that long. It goes on a world tour after the London run ends, though I don't know which countries it will visit, I think that's yet to be announced.

  • John,

    Great video!!

Me too, "I've been playing this video over and over again while doing other things..."

    Usually do that ...

I like to work listening music. these days I went and came from Crazy to World, Dream World and Dance while the music still goes on ...

  • Thanks Gal, yes that's a good habit to get into as you get to know each song and its unique features very well. Their Swedish accents have always been part of Abba's charm. Its particularly noticeable here when they sing "And I close my eyes"! - which is wonderful and helps make this outstanding! Guess I'm going crazy about this song!

  • The music is a good ally of mental health!!!

Make videos is to listen the songs over and over again...

  • The music is a good ally of mental health in the Crazy World !!

  • Great video John, teamed with the perfect ABBA song. Thanks :-)

  • Well done Kym, you would win the Abba quiz at the exhibition! You're the first person to mention how good this song is! I've been playing this video over and over again while doing other things just to listen to this fantastic song! Its unbelievable that they took 2 years to release this, and then only as a B-side! To me the storyline is terrific with the surprise ending. You can't help singing along with the chorus and then it shifts up a gear - its beautiful and definitely one of their best!

  • Honours for this video (2)

    #61 - Most Discussed (Today) - Music

    #81 - Top Favourited (Today) - Music

  • fascinating video, john. i like it.

    keep up the good work.

in 1:41 , is that your house? (very nice)

  • Cheers Carl - yeah this exhibition looks a great place to visit, with all the history of the group on display and plenty of interactive features to take part in. I believe that's the office at Polar Studios of Abba's legendary manager Stig Andersson, I've got a long way to go to get anywhere near him!

  • Great File, John! Thanks for sharing! You really did a great job again! If I only had the chance to visit London for this exhebition....

  • Thanks Stefanie - yes its turned out quite well when I look at it now, considering some of the pics and quotes weren't available until the 27th and I had to rush much more than I normally do with this event now open to the public! The organisers are called Touring Exhibitions and they plan to live up to their name and take it on tour after the London run ends. It would be logical to go to Europe next and Abba performed many times in Germany, so you may not have to wait very long to see it!

  • @abbafanglosuk Thank you very much!

  • Thanks Jim - yes I needed to make the write up interesting and accurate for this one as its a current event. I hope to visit in February during school half term and make a day of it, as I live 200 miles away - cheers from John!

  • Hi John . Your vid is a good summarize

    of the exhebition .

    Thanks

  • Hi Isabelle - yes I was concentrating on what the visitor should expect to happen on the day they visit by putting myself in that situation in my mind and putting things like TXP audio guide in!

  • Hope this exhibition will last longer than march 28th. I will visit London in may and I really want to see this!!

  • Its possible as I found a bit more info from Production Director Mats Daleskog:

"Bookings are being taken until the end of March but the exhibition may stay in London for longer if there is sufficient demand. I hope that we are able to stay here longer. It's a world city. There's a lot of people coming here, it's easy to access for fans. There are plans to take the exhibition on a world tour and we would like to build a permanent exhibition in Stockholm but that will take a few years.''

  • Great upload John, I would be up there but for the damn agrophobia but the slide show gives a feel for it!!

  • Thanks Bill - I'll probably visit in school half term in February to make a day off it. I'd have liked to have done some more slides, but its early days and not many pics are out there yet to be found .Still its enough to get the impression this is worth a visit as you say, and I guess that's what the organisers intend!

  • Wow Awesomes Pictures Thanks For Share

  • Cheers Bruno - still pictures for this exhibition were a bit scarce when I looked as I'd liked to have done more given there's 25 rooms of exhibits. But that's fair enough as they don't want to let all the secrets out before anyone has been!

  • Thanks for posting this John! I love all the information you dig up for your videos! Hope all is going well with you! I have my friend Anna coming over for a couple weeks, starting next week. She is an outstanding young lady & I enjoy having here around! Take care my friend!

    -Dallas

  • Thanks Dallas, I'm ok now that our snow has gone! Its nice that Anna is coming over to see you, I'm sure she'll be an inspiration. There was quite a lot to say for this event and I even had to leave the song lyrics out this time to get it all in, as the exhibition details are more important for viewers! Take care also, cheers from your friend John!
