Near the end of this cartoon, Snoopy did a good job by fighting back with the circus instructor, throwing her in the pink dip, after she did so to Snoopy.
These are timeless - Great for kids and real fun for kids at heart. You certainly didn't have to worry about the content when you sat your kids (or yourself) down to watch. Schultz was a genius. And there's something new to be seen and learned in each episode. Good quality stoorylines if you ask me. I try not to decipher them as reality but leaave the fantasy take control. Love how these kids figure out life quite well without those pesky adults to connfuse them. Thanks.
I remember watching this when my mom checked it out at the library. Not only that. It also included the special bonus episode "Snoopy's Getting Married, Charlie Brown." It's quite interesting if you ask me.
@Snoopy100ization Actually, this one came first out of the two. The other one came out in 1985 I think. This one was in 1982 (correct me if otherwise.)
One second Chuck I like to mix popcorn with my cotton candy. Here Chuck I'll give you half my popcorn. On second thought Chuck I don't think I want to mix my corn and candy. My favorite part of the special. Odd that it was not from a comic strip.
@pattypopping That plot device was probably concocted to explain why the entire audience comprised of kids. That, but I wouldn't put it past those really small towns with small school districts.
It's fun to see all those animals in the circus. Needless to say, they never showed anything like that in the comic strip.

The ending of this is like the ending of Someday You'll Find Her, Charlie Brown. However, Snoopy soon gets over losing his girl.

Wow, the scene with Snoopy being dyed pink is every bit as scary as when I was 7!

They close a school to see a circus? What kind of school is that? One that does not worry about test scores
