If your lungs were capable of breathing water and none of your organs had any air pockets you could swim down there too (although you freeze to death pretty fast!). What's really amazing is the mammals that swim deep (not this deep, though) like whales etc.

Well, the fact that they're born there doesnt really make much of a difference. The fact that their predecessors have been living there for a long time and have been adapting to the increased pressure with each new generations means that their bodies are fit for living at such a depth.

It is indeed not amazingly impressive. If we lived on the bottom of the ocean it would be birds that we'd find very impressive.
