a pretty good song 4kq............i know the real story behind this song.........if you're interested i have posted it on-line at "do re mi man overboard saw1110" you-tube site. the film clip is 4:18 minutes long. press "see all" to find my 3 hidden comments. regards.
No hard rock bands were generating top ten hits at the time, they rarely do; it was the disco era. "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen only made it to #18, and it's one of the most well know rock anthems of all time. Trust me when I say real rock and roll fans knew about and listened to Moxy, still do...
My older sister somehow stumbled across this album when it came out. Almost ever song is killer. As far as I know, they never got any airplay in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Talk about anti-Canadian discrimination -- this song is as good as any of the major US hits at the time. If a well-known US band had put out this song, it would have been a Billboard top 10 hit.
@7beers I know you posted this a year ago, but this tune was huge in Texas, in fact they had more charting in the US then they did here in Canada so.....you be wrong!! sorry!!

@moondog6969 Don't be sorry -- I'm happy to hear that a Canadian band had success in the US. :)

@7beers
I still have 4 LP albums by this band. Way ahead of the curve in the 70's. Those of us that loved them then still love the sound now.
