So instead of inspecting and taking into account recognition time and possible mistakes, he already knows every move he has to make to solve it. He's going for a "Best of all possible solutions". So basically, the absolute fastest possible time to solve the cube with conventional methods.

It's sped up, it was actually 4 minutes 8 seconds. Regardless of whether or not you had prepared the moves, it isn't possible, and watching your fingers closely you can tell its sped up. Atleast the people to stupid to realize this like you though. Derps.
