Cops for the majority are cowards who have taken an oath to uphold the constitution but have never even read it. also it will take you weeks to get all the bugs out of these engines before they work right bolts cables clamps gaskets clutch handle all need to be replaced so if you don't like working on engines don't even try it trust me
@thinsurface The only way your getting 40mph out of these engines is with a 30 tooth sprooket and you will be peddling up all hills and it makes it hard to start the thing to so who wants that that defeats the purpose of the thing you can get a jack shaft kit that will let you shift gears so you can go up hills and get up in the 30s with it
I own 4 of these bikes and yes every one of them (on a level street will do over 40), I should know. i ride them and build them every day and if you tune them correctly, YES they will go over 40. I'm not going to argue with you. I know these kits I am M.A.D Bikes out of Oregon.

Cvt drives only get up to 65 tops so there is no possible way a 66cc engine is going to have the power do go 40 mph and go up hills with out pedaling with one gears it's impossible you would have to way like 80ib hahaha and maybe you still may have problems going up hills with one gear I'm over 200 ib and my engine is tuned for Max power

mannexx, question for you. I want to build one of these because it looks fun to ride but also for a practical reason. Reason is I want to ride my bike to the gym which is about 2 miles away. Afraid that after working out I'll be beat and not have enough strength to pedal back so if I have a motorized bike I can kick on the motor and go back home without effort. Question is would the motor make it too heavy for leisure pedaling for a couple of miles to the gym or would it be okay? Thanks!

The motorized bike you commented on is a completed custom bike.Go to any website that sells these completed units and you will see that they go for exactly what I said.Your IQ seems to be about the same as your shoe size but then again I could be wrong your mom and dad might be brother and sister

these bikes with a stock 44 or 50 tooth sprocket will go no more then 21 and 26 mph his full of shit i have that very same 80CC engine kit
