  • Hi YouTube to see a video of the manassas reenactment go to our channel ( srvztube ) or look up Battle of Manassas reenactment 150th anniversary. Comment and subscribe

  • Are they using Gillams manual? thats the easier one. We used Hardys last time i did one

  • For an Enfield Rifle if you want to go cheap you can find one for 300 between 400 dollars. I bought mine at Servants in Gettysburg and had to defarb it, but it was worth it, my musket has never failed me over the past twelve years of re-enacting.

  • @nc69th My husband bought his about 11 years ago for $400 and the price on them has gone way up since then, I think they're closer to a grand now.

  • @nc69th Do they have a website for where you bought your musket? I need a new one. The last one I had I bought for $575.

  • I used to do this for years, until drugs and alchohol made it to where it was too dangerous, especially in mounted cal.

Most of them couldn't pass a drug test and I think they should be given one at registration.

  • Is it me or I am nuts. One of the reenactors is wearing farby glasses

  • I hate farbs!

  • how much is a remade or whatever springfield 1863 ? not a replice i want it to be able too shoot blanks =)

  • mabye 500-700 dollars. I do civil war reenacting, go with an 1853 enfield, you wolnt regret it.

  • yee nut i like the look on the 1861 springfield =P but ya i need to wait a few years until i move to the states cuz im 14 and live in sweden =P

  • Springsfields have a tend to...misfire because of where the cone(where a percussion cap goes to lite powder to fire) is off to the side. But some people dont have any problems. PS where do you want to move to the states?

  • love the video. is this a small event because there are only 2 or 3 companys. At our event near chicago we have 5 to 7 conpanys of infantry, engineers, and dismounted calvery

  • I'm not familiar with what is considered small and large in the Reenactment world. I can tell you that Huntsville is a small-ish town in East Texas, so it would make sense that this event is smaller than one in Chicago. :-)

  • @skrabutenas haha DJ :) how did i found you on here

  • companys

  • whoa that rifle stacking is really cool

  • aint it

  • how old do you have to be to be infantry in a reenactment

  • i was just wondering that too

  • 15 or 16 to carry the rifle

  • It depends. You can realy be any age, but to shoot is USUALY 15 or 16.
