@TheGriffindork I agree with you. I think these guys have a lot of potential, but there are two things holding them back (imo) & one is the mix. I think the bass is too prominent, the drums have a bit too much attack & the vocals become an annoyance.
I think they just need to reign things in a bit, like, try and be a bit more tasteful than joining in with the current tech/brutality dick measuring contest of some metal.
Only complaint i had was the vocals weren't loud enough, Those are some of the best screams that i've heard in a long time. Amazing band about time some talent came from South Florida! Can't wait till you guys get signed.

This conversation about breakdowns is ridiculous. The only reason it has come into conversation in the last few years is because crappy hardcore scene shit uses breakdowns. Please take note, death metal created breakdowns. Cannibal Corpse uses them, Behemoth uses them, Dying Fetus use them. It's just more noticeable now because the band poppy bands have incorporated it. Vocals are great. The bass is obviously amazing. Drums are tight as hell. And I don't know why everyone is complaining about breakdowns -- they really don't overpower the song and the guitars are actually technically sound. there are the breakdowns metal created,& then there are the syncopated droning annoying shit ones like asking alexandria or some shit.I personally don't like these breakdowns due to the Djent feel to them, to me it grinds against the flow of this song.
now I am a Metal head true and proud and I consider these dudes Metal due to the breakdowns having thought put into them with the bass or guitar soloing over them.

Vocals are great. The bass is obviously amazing. Drums are tight as hell. And I don't know why everyone is complaining about breakdowns -- they really don't overpower the song and the guitars are actually technically sound. Not to mention, it's not the same boring stuff you hear all of these other "metal" bands putting out nowadays.

I really regret giving this band a view on this video. I know most of the guys in there and have seen them play live but I never noticed how many fucking dumbass breakdowns they play in a single song. This shit is gay. How dare they call themsleves a metal band on top of that?

@Jamora There is a difference between a groovy section and a breakdown. And even so, they play a total of about 3 breakdowns in the whole song and they are all tasteful, not being a typical -dun-dun-dunna-dun- shit that trendy -core bands play. Just get off the page and don't comment. There are plenty of people that see them as a breath of fresh air, which they are, playing something both technical and groovy. Peace.

But his vocal patterns are absolute BULLSHIT. Bring back the Chris Barnes slow vocal patterns. Being able to pronounce your words correctly is an art lost in deathmetal.
