We're actually ALLOWING it and PROTECTING it by ensuring that if you send nude pictures to someone, they will be charged with a SERIOUS crime if they send it out to anyone, so now you can trust that your nude pictures will remain in their hands alone. "Sexting" is the act of sending a nude picture of yourself or someone else via a cellphone to another person, this does not mean it's child pornography as the picture could as well be of a 89 year olf granny posing nude. (ugly thought)

The law isn't accurate.
There's a difference between nude pics of a 17 year old and a 7 year old. You can't say they're the same and that its the same crime. A 17 year old can willingly do something like this under their own power, but a 7 year old would most likely be forced to.
Also, I'm 15, and I just think that Child Pornography laws are bs, like many other things in the government and the law.
