I LOVED this game back in the day on SNES and Arcade. It really saddens me that arcades dont have many side scroll beat em ups anymore :-/. I meet my best friend in life on a X-men arcade machine lol.
Yes Actually played both...and finished both...Shadow of Mystara is way to go very good looking with nice interface and SF alike combos. It would be nice to get an upto date version of it. With 3D graphics like they did with SFIV. Dungeon Master online is too much Japnese and cartoonish and I don't like that.
By the way, this version of King of Dragons being played is the original World (European) version, because the characters make a different sound when they level up, when they rise, or when they enter a level, the difficulty is easier, and there are less enemies than in the US and Japanese versions, which are the same.
If FRAPS would stop acting sick, I'd do it. MAME is the king of arcade emulators and they ain't put AVI recording in NONE of the 85 million variations of that emulator.
I like this game loads, and it saddens me every time anyone rips the SNES version, which I recall being very rock-solid. I haven't played it since 94 though so maybe I'm looking back with rose-tinted glasses?
I love these multi-player arcade games. Brings back memories of playing KoD (among many others) with my buddies at our favorite pizza joint. Good job, Toneman.
Hell yeah man, one of the best! Hell the music even sounds like the Street Fighter 2 games all the way up to Turbo Edition, because of the CPS1 sound board
Yes, it was Yoko Shimomura. Well known for her works in SquareEnix like Kingdom Hearts, Parasite Eve, and Legend of Mana. Forgot to mention Super Mario RPG and Mario and Luigi series.
low ass quality

Dungeon Dragons Online sorry.

But why have three players? they could've did something different like what Konami did with X-Men by having 6 players.

Man, this video is long, and I am quite busy now, but I promise I'll post a decent comment when I get to watch it to the end.
It seems doing a OMA playthrough on KoD works better than I expected ;)

Plus, wasn't it composed by Yoko Shimomura? It's a pretty decent soundtrack, but definitely not her best.
This is one of the few arcade games I've actually played in real life. Afterwards, me and my friend rented the SNES port a dozen times.
Haha, "Oh, thanks buddy." sounds way too casual for a mystical talking tree.
