they need to make STAR WARS GALAXIES 2.... with up to date graphics and realism game play like in movies, without fucking up the professions of jedi, sith , bounty hunter etc........and more variety in character creation and costumes.
@KevinLuhrs No... NGE was a disaster for the game, was a disaster for SOE (as acknowledged by them themselves) and took away a game I loved... so no... I won't STFU about it... and if you don't like videos like this that remind us all of how great the game was pre NGE (and Pre CU) then go an play your broken SWG and leave the rest of us to point out how shit it became... and don't tell me you think it was an improvement... if it were then you would be playing it now, not trolling on YouTube.

If people want an easy game, let them play one. That doesn't mean you have to make your game easy, it just means you have to know your audience. I thnk it's pretty clear that smedley never intended on producing products for a niche. In that case, he really messed up with SWG. Go back to school and learn how to manage a company you fruit cake.
I left like 4 weeks after the NGE went live, I played alot before the CU since day 1 and alot during the CU and noticed the CU was improving then suddenly the retarded NGE which was very incomplete and unstable. I remember when the CU first came out and you were fighting with your Jedi, your lightsaber would come on and go off between each attack, it got really stupid and they fixed that then when the NGE went live 6 months later the same thing came back.
NGE SUX. But...it doesnt have to be over. IF u miss the old SWG (pre-CU) go to SWGEmu DOT com and join the pre cu community and play pre cu agian 4 free.
wow im about to cry... so good memories. I feel sorry for master jedi's who took over a half a year to get there, and now anyone can get there within less then a month... i miss it. those that thought the nge was a good idea will get it back someday. thank you for this

NGE may have been pretty bad.. but the game isnt really all that bad anymore there is like 1000x more content that has been added since then.
Just saying some people might want to just give it a try again. Its no precu.. but its still fun.

NGE, You were required to start without a class. Build up skills in weapons, therefore having to learn force powers to become jedi.
Also, a great combat system it was a good system but then they made it easier. and Everyone left as it was boring.
