the fight is actually really easy if you play the to the AI's stupidity.

he never attacks from above or below, and has no ranged weapon.

so fly to an open space where your camera is as far as it gets from you, then charge up. when he appears in your vision, melee attack (you know, that spin you havent used all game because its terrible). its unblockable and interupts him.

for those wondering, the script stops the fight before you can kill him.

Zone of the Enders is a great Japanese video game. I love how they named the frames after ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses. The story, gameplay, and music are really awesome. I really enjoyed the intense high-speed combat of piloting Jehuty. I cannot await for the next ZOE.

@DarkX64 I was refering to the lyrics, it's a sample from ZOE1's intro (The Origin) word of god says that The Origin is a backwards sample taken from Flowing Destiny. That's all I know, feel free to prove me wrong. I'm as interested in the composition as much as you.

i don't remember ever defeating Anubis, i think in my comment i meant that i defeated Anubis off ZOE 2, but as you can read its 5 months old so i don't remember what i was talking about exactly. in ZOE 1 though, its impossible. you CAN'T defeat him. you can't even harm him. he uses the teleportation to instantly disappear when you try to hit him. so regardless of everything, you are screwed.

I remember not beating him in the first game, although I do remember giving him a good beating the second time I fought him in part 1... which lead me to believe if I kept trying maybe I could defeat him. Though I didn't want to waste my time doing that.

I'd figure the game would glitch or Anubis just does something stopping you from winning. idk like 5% of his life than you... go... BOOM!

...Really? I thought he'd teleport everytime an attack you launch was supposed to hit, hence making it 'impossible'. It's impossible for Anubis to register a hit as 'damage', so to speak.

If I remember correctly he does teleport but within that little time that you get to hit him stacks up. It toke me about idk 10min just to get his life to 75% I think... Its a bitch trying to stay alive.

But if u deactivate the bombs and all with the least amount of life wasted there, you could try to kill Anubis.

I'll try it sometime this summer. I'll try to get a printscreen on how low I can get it (COMPETITION).

It's impossible to destroy Anubis and I've tried. Even if you use a cheat device, your health WILL GO DOWN. Your shots will be deflected before they even get close. You can't even engage in close-range combat..
