Let me ask everyone out there. Would classical conservatives like Russel Kirl, Murray Rothbard, and Richard Weaver worry about "Islamofacism?" I don't think so.
Ya, your probably right. The book, that is eternally inscribed in the heavens and was communicated to the 7th century merchant and general verbatim, that declares that all non-believers must be occupied, governed by Muslims or killed if they are not people of the book probably wasn't the main inspiration.
It is that the US has (wickedly) done everything in its power to control the oil resources (taking over from Britain) to prevent them from falling into Nazi, Communist or Islamist hands.
I am English . my family have live here for at least a thousand years. it is the struggle of my ancestors and others like them over the past thousands years that has given us the country we have now .this is not to be given to anyone who wants a piece of it . stay where you are and struggle for the country you want and maybe in a thousand years or so you might get it . dont for one minute think you can enjoy what we have worked so hard to achieve .

The word islamofascism is wrong and right in some ways. Wrong if you want to describe the atrocitys of german, italien or spanish fascism. right if you wanne point on something special in the ideology called islam.
is it racist?
no .. cause mohammed didnt know races .. well, he didnt know much at all
is it antisemitic?
yes. long before hitlers murderers let jews dig their own graves before killing them, muhammed had this idea .. and used it.
hell, yes it is! Take a look on the historical maps, It yonquers country after country for more then 1300 years.
does it oppress opponents as well as dissidents ? yes. and it uses the same methods as hitler used against his former friends in the SA (Ernst Röhm - Night of the Long Knives)
Does it use propaganda and propaganda lies?
Another Yes.
Yes we can talk about islamofascism. but we should be carefull in using it
Sice his massacre in the tribe of the Banu Qurayza. You can be proud, your so called prophet was the first who invented the idea to let jews shovel their own graves. it needed anotehr 1600 years till the nazis reinvented this method. but in distinction from hitler ... mohammed slaughterd the jews himself. or do you want to tell me that Surah 33, Verses 22 to 27 are complete lies? and there are dozends other occasions wher mihhamed shows his antisemetism in the quran
Don´t talk with this Kufar brother. They are all haram. Your prayers will loose their worth if you do. Our day will come and Allah will give us victory. Then our swords will bath in infedel blood.

Muslims were being attacked and harassed because of their new faith. The Quraysh did not like them because of they would lose the Kabaah to a Muslim majority (this is where they generated majority profit) and the jews feared Mohammad because they wanted a prophet from their ranks, not Arab ranks.
Banu Qurayza started the mess, they paid for it.
And they (the men, not women or children who were left to live) did not dig their own graves, kid. nice fabrication.
The woman and children were left free? ... woman were raped ( and as woman count female chidlren like Aisha = 9 years) and the all were sold as slaves. and what was their crime ? they didnt want do submit under a man who personally killed his opponents .. who robbed caravans and waged wars of aggression. you maybe can dance on the top of a needle but you cant change the words in your bloodbook .. it not a only a book .. its the diary of a criminal, and history is the tribunal
And the Quran isn't a diary nor a set of accounts of Mohammad pbuh's life... you clearly have no clue what you're talking about, because even your insults don't make sense haha.
you are right .. it isnt a diary .. if it would be, it maybe would have some value. But this camelthief was a illiterate. He just was a violent and lazy dumbass who prefered to waste his times with murder, rape, looting, enslaving and child molesting. you are right .. it isnt a diary ... it is a fairytale. written long after he was dead and rotten

Marriing a 6 year old child .. against her will, by coercion of the father who long time refused .. and FUCKING her when she is NINE isnt a different sight of social standard, even in that time it was all common all over arab to marry no woman under 13 ! and a child molester not necessarily has to be self conscious. most psychopaths like this kind of oppression to act out their instinct. which age they finaly molest doesent interest them as long as the can suppress somebody

Mohammad had no history of being molested himself. Why would he want to suppress another girl, especiall an Arab and devout Muslim? Makes no sense, especially when Mohammad had power given to him by enthused followers who were increasing in number. you make absolutely no sense, there is no comparison...
Mohammad had married Aisha through recommendation and her father agreed. There was consent, and it was common amongst all those involved.Mohammad's main reason for marrying the girl was for him to gain stronger ties w/ Abu Bakr, not so he could molest children(God forbid such a thing).& evidence of him having sex w/ her at 9? records say that he justlet her play w/ dolls and he watched.

I think the term "Islamofascist" indicates a misunderstanding of how complex Islam is, a point southernavenger makes well. And the people we commonly dub extremists in Europe/the U.S. may also define guys like Musharraf as extremists for following the West too slavishly...
Combing fascism with Islam is nonsense; A islamist is a theocrate someone who wants to give power to religious leaders. Fascism is about nationalism and power to the heads of state; In theocracies state heads tend to be powerless to religious ones.
Islamofascism is an international problem. Murder of Theo van Gogh, riots over cartoons, nun killed because the Pope said something, terrorist attacks...
Lets see, Italy, Germany, Chile, Chili con carne, oh wait, there was the Shhah, no but he was anti-islamic. How about todays Iran is that fascist? No they vote, and I dont believe they have an electoral college. remember 2000? ha ha
I dont think the racist apartheid state of America in 1940 was much better. Inceinerating children in Dresden, or Hiroshima, is not much different than a Nazi death camp, just more efficient. We brought the ovens to them, not them to the ovens.
And thats forgetting what happened after the war, ever hear of the book, "Other Losses", from the Tom Brokaw "greatest generation"?
I am not going to defend the indefensible. As a nation, as a matter of national policy the worst the US did was intern the Americans of Japanese descent during WWII. That is a far cry from how the Japanese treated the Koreans and Chinese.
Dresden? No. Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Definitely. Note: the Bomb was originally developed to be deployed against Germany. You've got me on the "death camps in German" issue, though. I know naught of it.
"After World War II, an estimated ten million Germans, both soldiers and citizens, were incarcerated in Allied prison camps. Due to negligence, varying from exposure to starvation, from gunfire to physical abuse, over 1.5 million of these prisoners lost their lives" REVIEW, OTHER LOSSES, BY James Bacque I verified this with a friend whose mother as a child was in one of those camps.
Well, there was the whole "werewolf" issue. To be honest, I do not know anything about this issue so I cannot offer anything in response. I do have a couple of questions though. Were these people just standing around idly minding their own business and then they were rounded up for no particularly good reason? I am not a big fan of any government as a general rule, but there had to be something that caused the action to be taken.
cHILDREN, WIVES, of people in government. or related some how to some one in government , or sometime sjust ratted out by enviouus people as my friend explained it. settling scores, probably the same now in Iraq.
Yes most families were related no doubt to individuals that were anti US government, anti American occupation, thats why they were put in camps and starved to death or killed.
Who was Supreme Commader in Europe, Eisenhower? Was that precision in Hiroshima-Nagasaki? Korea-Viet Nam- Cambodia-Afghanistan- Soviet Republics- Chechnya-Azerbaijan-Belgrade......
SA, did not step back. Everyone else step forward. The fact you think he went "Center-left" indicates like many other people you've been gulping down on Neo-con Kool-aid on whom or what defines today's conservative. To get your political compass back, I recommend pick up a library book on the political history of this country. Behold I send you out as sheep amidst the wolves.
Does anyone else see the use of Islamic people as scapegoats similar to the Nazi use of jews to explain all the problems within the country? The neocons are really sick.
Put another way, if American interventionism is the primary cause of hostility against Awerica, why don't we see people other than Islamists who could rationalize a grievance against America calling for attacks on us, instead of seeing Islamist terrorism in countries over issues that have little to do with America?
We have no troops in Thailand, and yet Islamists are slaughtering Thais in the southern areas of their country. Care to explain how that's the result of American interventionism? Or how about Beslan, how did our policies force Chechen radicals to slaughter innocent schoolchildren?
Oh and one other thing, wilf. Abu Sayaff, the Philippine Al Qaeda, beheaded an American at a time when we had no troops in the Philippines. Furthermore, Jemaah Islamiya, the Indoenesian Al Qaeda, has publicly stated that it will attack Americans if given the opportunity. It has already murdered Australians. Neither country has troops in Indonesia.
The Japanese are beating us in a different way. The saying the best revenge is living well. Their economy is striving. Why did we use atomic weapons on them? Because we knew we would loose too many people in a ground invasion.
Erroneous and non sequitur. The Japanese aren't living well because they hate us. Rather, they're living well because they *want* to live well. Furthermore, Japanese affluence has nothing to do with radical Islam.
Do you think if another country used atomic weapons on us we would ever forget? By the way the Japanese are freindly to us because they have too.If you understand Bushido you will know that this is a stagedy.Thank you for your insightful, self righteous indignation.continued..........
By that logic, the way to make radical Islamists become friendy with us is to nuke 'em. Of course, if that isn't your logic, then you're just continuing a non sequitur.
Don't mistake an acknowledgment of history for indignation, wilf. If you want to know the root of terrorism, you only need to look at the realities Islamism in front of you.
Your failure to answer with nothing more than an ad hominem response betrays your inability to debate the the issue with a rational mind. Such is a concession to the logic of those who see the threat for what it is.
Those who see the world for what it is rather than what we'd like to imagine it to be accept your concession.
Sure they remember the a-bomb; But deny the ethnic cleansing and atrocities in china/Korea that japan is guilty of ect... I don't believe that the average Japanese guy is into Bushido nowadays.
"Be kind to parents, and the near kinsman, and to orphans, and to the needy, and to the neighbor who is of kin,and to the neighbor who is a stranger."
The problem with the theory that American intervention is the predominant cause of violence directed against us by radical Islamists is that it ignores a millenium of Islamic imperialism the preceded American global power. Aren't you people aware that the reason why we created a military with global reach in the first place was to protect us against Islamist imperialism two centuries ago?
Those people would want to subjugate us with or without a history of American interventionism. To conclude otherwise is to ignore American military history.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? You cannot justify what people do in the name of religion. I wasn't aware of Islamic people trying to conquer the world. The majority dont seem motivated for material wealth. What did the Pilgrims(or Americans) do to the Native Americans? Didn't they just take from them? If everyone followed religion closely (ie-do unto others as you would have them do unto you) there would be more peace.
Eh? It's the Islamists who justify what they did with their religion, not me. In any event, I think it'd be foolish to try to find an excuse for Islamist imperialism in the wrongs of the Pilgrims, who weren't Americans. (After all, how could they be Americans if the country didn't exist yet?)
BTW, Islam does not have a precise equivalent to the Golden Rule that you bring up. And there is no obligation to love all human beings either in Islam. Read the Quran before you presume what it preaches, all I'm sayin'.
"Be kind to parents, and the near kinsman, and to orphans, and to the needy, and to the neighbor who is of kin, and to the neighbor who is a stranger."
It's easy for people who live here to be swayed by others who haven't been anywhere. Opinions are just opinions, and this assault is as extreme as the word being assaulted. Rita Katz, a.k.a. the Terrorist Hunter puts it simply enough... Terrorists are Muslims and should be treated as such
Rita Katz is a dumb ass.Saying all terrorists are Muslim or visa versa is akin to saying all Negros carry knives. There have been accounts of "Christian" terrorist acts - bombing abortion clinics, Japanese kamikazee etc. To think your right and everyone else is wrong is a very dangerous and norrow minded approach to life.
"It is a certain fact that not all Muslims are terrorists, but it is equally certain, and exceptionally painful, that almost all terrorists are Muslims."
- Abdel Rahman al-Rashed, the general manager of the Al-Arabiya news channel.
Perhaps I should have been less specific in stating that ALL Terrorists are Muslims... I stand corrected and thank you for your clarification. MOST are... so I agree with Rita Katz in saying that MOST Muslims should be sent to Allah.
Calling people names who are resourced by Homeland Security, the F.B.I. and our own National Security Agency is essentially acknowledging that you know nothing about her or her history. She happens to be the President of S.I.T.E. which reports on terrorist acts worldwide.
Problem is that radical Islamists attacked Americans many, many years before there was ever such a thing as "American interventionism". How else do you people explain the Islamist attacks on Americans two centuries ago if you don't acknowledge that Islamism is the predominant cause of attacks on Americans today?
Don't be silly. Look at what those intelligent northern voters have done to New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. The Founders are rolling in their graves over what's become of "New England". The only exceptions being Vermont and New Hampshire.
Yep, those 'northerners' are highly intelligent. LOL.
Excuse me, but this is hypocritical. You stoop to the levels of the people that use the term by calling them "neoconservative". whittling down the ideologies held by a people to support a certain position. LABELS are impossible to avoid in our current political atmosphere. To call out another group for using them while using the same tactics against that group makes you just as "evil".
They named themselves "neoconservatives" (Irving Kristol in particular) and it has only become a perjorative because of the results their philosophy has produced. I calls-em like I sees-em.
This name is self proclaimed. If SA was doing what you claim here then he would have called them neo-fascists. Funny thing is that their ideals are far more fascist than conservative. It is nice how they use words that mean the opposite to describe things. Patriot Act............
Possibly without the help of the isolationist right and their brethren the so-called 'peace movement' there will be no waking up from the Islamofascist nightmare. Quit masturbating in fantasyland and get with the program, boys!

Islamofascist. A neologism used to compare the ideological or operational characteristics of certain modern Islamist movements with European fascist movements of the early 20th century.
What really makes America look like a banana republic is the Iowa caucus where American viewers have to put up with fringe candidates like Ron Paul, or Huckabee; I mean this is a pretty cruel process, to mislead candidates of their worth and fortune.
Let me ask everyone out there. Would classical conservatives like Russel Kirl, Murray Rothbard, and Richard Weaver worry about "Islamofacism?" I don't think so.

wtf, massacre? dude, you have one twisted view of history (typical evangelical propaganda).
Mohammad pbuh did not initiate the "massacre", it was initiated by a subordinate by the name of Saad bin Muadh.
Secondly, only the male prisoners of war were executed, who did not repent for their animosity and intent to mame and kill Muslims.
Though most of the tribe of Banu Qurayza agreed to leave Muslims alone, some of it decided to side with the Quraysh and wage war on Muslims.

Japan a Christian nation?

Technically, pe-war Japan was Nationalist Shinto-not fascism , But its a good point.
Ecothearcy 4 years ago
Fair enough. However, in application Japan's methods differed little from those of their fascist allies.
steve0281 4 years ago
I dont think the racist apartheid state of America in 1940 was much better. Inceinerating children in Dresden, or Hiroshima, is not much different than a Nazi death camp, just more efficient. We brought the ovens to them, not them to the ovens.
And thats forgetting what happened after the war, ever hear of the book, "Other Losses", from the Tom Brokaw "greatest generation"?
Ecothearcy 4 years ago
I am not going to defend the indefensible. As a nation, as a matter of national policy the worst the US did was intern the Americans of Japanese descent during WWII. That is a far cry from how the Japanese treated the Koreans and Chinese.
steve0281 4 years ago
so u give them a free pass for dresden and hiroshima-nagasaki, and the death camps in German ("Other Losses")?
Ecothearcy 4 years ago
Dresden? No. Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Definitely. Note: the Bomb was originally developed to be deployed against Germany. You've got me on the "death camps in German" issue, though. I know naught of it.
steve0281 4 years ago
"After World War II, an estimated ten million Germans, both soldiers and citizens, were incarcerated in Allied prison camps. Due to negligence, varying from exposure to starvation, from gunfire to physical abuse, over 1.5 million of these prisoners lost their lives" REVIEW, OTHER LOSSES, BY James Bacque I verified this with a friend whose mother as a child was in one of those camps.
Disgusting and shameful.
Ecothearcy 4 years ago
Well, there was the whole "werewolf" issue. To be honest, I do not know anything about this issue so I cannot offer anything in response. I do have a couple of questions though. Were these people just standing around idly minding their own business and then they were rounded up for no particularly good reason? I am not a big fan of any government as a general rule, but there had to be something that caused the action to be taken.
steve0281 4 years ago

So they may have been Nazis or sympathizers?
steve0281 4 years ago
Yes most families were related no doubt to individuals that were anti US government, anti American occupation, thats why they were put in camps and starved to death or killed.
History repeats itself.
Ecothearcy 4 years ago
Indeed it does. The US is well on its way to its own version of fascism.

If American interventionism is the predominant cause of Islamist attacks against America, then how come we don't see:
1. Japanese in large numbers calling for death to America,
2. Germans in large numbers calling for death to America,
3. Latin Americans in large numbers calling for death to America, or
4. Japanese in large numbers calling for death to America?

How come instead we see,
1. Islamists beheading Indonesian schoolgirls,
2. Islamists beheading and bombing Thai Buddhists,
3. Islamists rioting in against Danish cartoonists, and
4. Islamists bombing committing all kinds of terror against Indians ever since the founding of the modern state of India?
laviciousness 4 years ago
Put another way, if American interventionism is the primary cause of hostility against Awerica, why don't we see people other than Islamists who could rationalize a grievance against America calling for attacks on us, instead of seeing Islamist terrorism in countries over issues that have little to do with America?
I'd like to hear SA's response to that.

Because we knew we would loose too many people in a ground invasion.
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago
Erroneous and non sequitur. The Japanese aren't living well because they hate us. Rather, they're living well because they *want* to live well. Furthermore, Japanese affluence has nothing to do with radical Islam.
laviciousness 4 years ago
Do you think if another country used atomic weapons on us we would ever forget? By the way the Japanese are freindly to us because they have too.If you understand Bushido you will know that this is a stagedy.Thank you for your insightful, self righteous indignation.continued..........
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago
By that logic, the way to make radical Islamists become friendy with us is to nuke 'em. Of course, if that isn't your logic, then you're just continuing a non sequitur.
Don't mistake an acknowledgment of history for indignation, wilf. If you want to know the root of terrorism, you only need to look at the realities Islamism in front of you.

Your failure to answer with nothing more than an ad hominem response betrays your inability to debate the the issue with a rational mind. Such is a concession to the logic of those who see the threat for what it is.

"Be kind to parents, and the near kinsman, and to orphans, and to the needy, and to the neighbor who is of kin,and to the neighbor who is a stranger."
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago
The problem with the theory that American intervention is the predominant cause of violence directed against us by radical Islamists is that it ignores a millenium of Islamic imperialism the preceded American global power. Aren't you people aware that the reason why we created a military with global reach in the first place was to protect us against Islamist imperialism two centuries ago?
laviciousness 4 years ago
Cont...
Those people would want to subjugate us with or without a history of American interventionism. To conclude otherwise is to ignore American military history.
laviciousness 4 years ago
Which came first the chicken or the egg? You cannot justify what people do in the name of religion. I wasn't aware of Islamic people trying to conquer the world. The majority dont seem motivated for material wealth. What did the Pilgrims(or Americans) do to the Native Americans? Didn't they just take from them? If everyone followed religion closely (ie-do unto others as you would have them do unto you) there would be more peace.
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago
Eh? It's the Islamists who justify what they did with their religion, not me. In any event, I think it'd be foolish to try to find an excuse for Islamist imperialism in the wrongs of the Pilgrims, who weren't Americans. (After all, how could they be Americans if the country didn't exist yet?)
laviciousness 4 years ago

BTW, Islam does not have a precise equivalent to the Golden Rule that you bring up. And there is no obligation to love all human beings either in Islam. Read the Quran before you presume what it preaches, all I'm sayin'.

It's easy for people who live here to be swayed by others who haven't been anywhere. Opinions are just opinions, and this assault is as extreme as the word being assaulted. Rita Katz, a.k.a. the Terrorist Hunter puts it simply enough... Terrorists are Muslims and should be treated as such
FotoZ4FX 4 years ago
Rita Katz is a dumb ass.Saying all terrorists are Muslim or visa versa is akin to saying all Negros carry knives. There have been accounts of "Christian" terrorist acts - bombing abortion clinics, Japanese kamikazee etc. To think your right and everyone else is wrong is a very dangerous and norrow minded approach to life.
wilfredsnipple 4 years ago

Some nutcases claim Ron Paul is a bigot, and then later they show how fair-minded they are by using terms like Islamofascists or Islamoterrorists.
In Iowa I've even heard some GOP candidates stretch this out to Islamoextremefascists and Islamoextremeterrorists.
What next? Islamosuperextremefascists?
I have no problem if these nutcases say something like "terrorists who claim to follow Islam".
But trying to tie the words together as they do is wrong.
DillonX 4 years ago
Problem is that radical Islamists attacked Americans many, many years before there was ever such a thing as "American interventionism". How else do you people explain the Islamist attacks on Americans two centuries ago if you don't acknowledge that Islamism is the predominant cause of attacks on Americans today?
laviciousness 4 years ago
Using a word like islamofascism repeatedly and incorrectly to unite people through blind ignorance is indeed a form of fascism. Neofascism.

Excuse me, but this is hypocritical. You stoop to the levels of the people that use the term by calling them "neoconservative". whittling down the ideologies held by a people to support a certain position.
