  • I love this. This is the second track Ive heard of Hardage with Mark King Bass God in it. Stupid question, but is there an album? if so I want it yesterday.

  • @dickturnipmarlboro hi there, thanks for your comment. those 2 tracks are in the album "The Five Doubts" by Hardage. The album includes tracks with Jocelyn Brown, Peter Gabriel, Michael Franti etc. There are no other tracks with M.King at the moment but I think very soon me and Mark will work together again.

    Thanks

  • Very good indeed Hardage and this tune is on top of the best for me right now.

  • Hi There! thanks for your comment!

  • Great track, I have been a level 42 fan since 1981 and this track by far is one of the best i have ever heard from mark, how did you get to collaborate with you?

  • Every time we are presented with a collaboration of artists I see it as a gift, a compliment of two different styles that are brought together out of a sense of enjoyment for the art of making original music. There are so many times I wish other favorite artists of mine had worked with so and so......ex: see Robert Palmer with James Brown....so, I love these gifts of music.

  • hi there! I think the same ! my album is exactly based on joining my music with unexpected artists...

    thanks for your message

  • i like very much....sweet n' sexy sound!!!

  • The sequenced bass part ,buries Mark. 9/10 people would outside of the solo and vocal would not know he is even playing.

  • What a smooth & sexy song...and Mark's voice is such an amazing addition. Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks! Check also The Genius of love.

  • I like this entirely better than anything on the new Level 42 album.

  • You are entitled to your opinion;but it is so different,I can't to begin to compare them. The only thing in common is Mark. The bass solo is extremely Stanley Clarke like, not like its a bad thing!.

  • many thanks for your comment!

  • I much prefer this to the Genius of Love - good arrangements - lovely cool bass solo in the middle - sort of sends you to another place. The one where I want to be rather than where I am....

  • i do to ! smoooooooth song

  • not sure if i like mark singing about the sweetest pain!!

  • This shows Marks vocal talents out of the L42 mode and an amazing song with fantastic production.
