I love this. This is the second track Ive heard of Hardage with Mark King Bass God in it. Stupid question, but is there an album? if so I want it yesterday.
@dickturnipmarlboro hi there, thanks for your comment. those 2 tracks are in the album "The Five Doubts" by Hardage. The album includes tracks with Jocelyn Brown, Peter Gabriel, Michael Franti etc. There are no other tracks with M.King at the moment but I think very soon me and Mark will work together again.
@rolandobacci I think along with so many other Mark King " Level 42" fans, just cant wait for another collaboration between you all...Thanks for the GREAT MUSIC
Great track, I have been a level 42 fan since 1981 and this track by far is one of the best i have ever heard from mark, how did you get to collaborate with you?
Every time we are presented with a collaboration of artists I see it as a gift, a compliment of two different styles that are brought together out of a sense of enjoyment for the art of making original music. There are so many times I wish other favorite artists of mine had worked with so and so......ex: see Robert Palmer with James Brown....so, I love these gifts of music.
You are entitled to your opinion;but it is so different,I can't to begin to compare them. The only thing in common is Mark. The bass solo is extremely Stanley Clarke like, not like its a bad thing!.
I much prefer this to the Genius of Love - good arrangements - lovely cool bass solo in the middle - sort of sends you to another place. The one where I want to be rather than where I am....

The sequenced bass part ,buries Mark. 9/10 people would outside of the solo and vocal would not know he is even playing.
