If the noise bothers you then if you sit behind the engine blades you wont hear that sound , that sound is the compressor or the blades chopping up the air . but anyway you will only hear that for takeoff . haha

@WJ2593 btw what effects does it have to the plane if you use a cell phone? I think it may only interrupt a telecommunication between tower & aircraft, nothin more.
@arkbird724 There is a very small chance that a phone would cause interruption, but if it did , losing communication between aircraft and tower is quite a hazard.

Do also know that on most flights their is at least 1 phone call made. Plus lzd772 films his landings and he is a pilot.
