I never hear of vinnie moore since he join UFO, i wonder if he still sidewinds when he gets ecclesiastical in hexagon octagonal advanced scalier patterns on reptilian striped creations like sidewinder only sickle clawed with 4 inches leathery hided that creepth, goes to fro thru middle of earth, I learned 'morning star' back in 88 most of it anyways' Dmin, Gmaj, Cmaj, Fmaj Dmin Gmajor? G#bass note over E7 then Diminished lick i think? If i was asshole id prove myself on video not for guitarted
I own this record...in vinyl...Believe it or not. I remember receiving this record as a gift for Christmas, it was in 88 as far as i can remember. Simply magical..
I was wondering, God the first time I meet Vinnie Moore's work I was a teenager playing my video game (Burning Rangers- Sega Saturn) it was long time ago (about 15 years).
This song is recorded in "Time Odyssey" which I've ever listened MOST FREQUENTLY in my life. (I wouldn't be surprised if I were the most frequently listener of this album.) Every single song in this album is beautiful. He really cares about the tone and volume of the guitar. This is the major difference from other neo-classical guitarists. BTW, did you know that Jordan Rudess played in this album as the keyboardist? I'd bring this album to a desert island.
I completely agree... Very Beautiful - every song... There was a time that I listened to this all the time... I'll always be a Vinnie Moore fan.... :)
@JeDaRy i dont think so... i'm thinking bacon and eggs, toast, pimeal bacon, ham, swiss chedder, sausage, pancakes, tons of syrup, tomato, onion, hash browns, cinnamon toast crunch!!! the works man!! he mustve to power down a Legendary track like this, something the gods feast on..
Does anybody know which organ, strings or whatever sound is played in the background? it seems to be a synth sound, which is often used in neoclassical music, but i am not sure what it is exactly.
don't know if it's the same around the world but here in Thailand, many guitar learners of shredding stuff will get to play this song after months of heavy practice. usually used by many guitar teachers i know.
@MUDSHARK111 No I didn't say I play this song well. But you are right about my skill. But at least I used to play better than what you see in my channel. I took an intensive guitar course 3 years ago. Shred. It took nearly 3 months before I had to stop for some reason. So Morning Star was the first (and last) song I got to learn.
If Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart were around today, they'd be metalheads...

Probably the most boring guitar hero from the 80's, pattern after pattern no feeling at all and really a bad tone.
